My opinion is summed up with one word: Unobtainium.
The movie is generic, pretty, and works as a giant summer blockbuster. As a thought provoking movie with a good take on a message it is dead on arrival. I have no problem with it being a standard summer blockbuster, that is how it should be viewed. I personally

Spider-Man has always been about the angst and loneliness of being a hero. He was a tragic figure for a long time - Uncle's death being his fault, Gwen's death being his fault, etc. and since he is an awkward person, Peter is all internal and Spidey is the only time he is able to externalize (at least in the original

Ant-Man because Edgar Wright is a huge fan and wanted to make the movie. Last I heard the movie isn't going to be part of the Marvel cinematic universe.

Nail on the head there... Depp at his best is a controlled "crazy" - whenever a director indulges him too much it becomes tiresome or distracts from the plot (Tim Burton has been able to get some of the best and worst wacky "Depp-ness" out of him in movies - not advocating Burton as a director for this movie).

I would at least be interested to watch it. Right now I will not even bother with a movie that continues on from Aliens 4 or is a sequel to Prometheus (that movie was boring and full of irrational, illogical behavior from supposed scientists).

Well, we all know that really evil people go emo and do dance sequences. Either that or Raimi saw Cabaret too many times.

Yeah, Andrew M - Have to agree with you. Perry White and Jimmy Olsen are iconic characters. They may have faded a bit more recently but I am fairly sure that there are 5 characters in the Superman comics with near instantaneous name recognition with almost any American: Clark Kent, Lois Lane, Lex Luther, Perry White,

IMO Nick Fury is just as iconic as Lex Luther. But then I grew up reading Sgt Fury and his Howling Commandos.

I will have to take a look and see sometime. I am not going to rush to see it, after I am not really a fan. My issue with supes has always been that if he does fail it is because of the three items I listed, is short lived, and he almost in the next moment succeeds.

I wonder if Ford agreed because they dangled the death of Han Solo in front of him. He has always thought that Han Solo needed to die to give the movies more emotional power.

Yeah, the fact that you chose KalEl as your name means a heavy grain of salt when reading your comments too. Just needed to interject that bit.

#1 reason that he isn't wearing a costume in movies? Pointy hair and muttonchops.

Yeah, if it was on my Steam Wishlist and had a good deal I bought it. I did buy the new COD:Ghosts to play with my friends though.

As someone who isn't really familiar with Green Arrow's villains I have to ask - are alot of Batman's villains and supporting cast also in GA's comics? The Huntress, Solomon Grundy, Ra's Al Ghul etc - or is it the other way around?

Yeah, I don't want the original actors to run around doing all the fighting but I do want them to show up as mentors to the new cast. Luke the Jedi Master, Leia the retired senator, Han as the retired general, Lando as the semi-retired reprobate who is attempting to mend his ways.

It looked dreadfully cheesy beforehand, that's just the final nail in its coffin. Besides it's on Fox so they will cancel it right when it starts getting good.

Is Billy Dee in the movies? I would like to see Lando in the sequels, but then I worry that what I really am hoping for is a return to the awesomeness that was the Original Trilogy. Which can't happen because I saw those as a cynicism free child (2,5, and 8 years old) who really believed that I could grow up to be a

The mini series idea would be nice. Don't get me wrong I love to binge watch shows but I really like being able to watch and discuss shows with people - theorize about what happens next type thing. Can't do that when you are on episode six and someone else is on ep 2, and the third person is done with the series.

Only reason I bought COD:Ghosts was because I have a small group of friends on Xbox Live who I play the COD MP with... I can't really disagree with anyone about the fact that the games are the same every year. I don't buy these games because I believe they are creative (they aren't) but merely to hang out with friends

If this show is proof that Joss Whedon does teams well - then he sucks at shows about teams. Seriously, it is the worst show of his I've watched - Angel, Buffy, Firefly are all so much better than Agents of Shield and I am only watching it because I want to see if Marvel has a legitimate crossover with a movie OR has
