Last night was better, hopefully the trend continues and by the time the season ends we are all arguing over the fact that we all loved the show from day one. LOL

@Stick: Bravo... I can't say that is exactly what I would have said. I am cranky but I don't think I ramble that much. ;-)

Yeah, it would be a lot more interesting to explore Supervillain versus ordinary people (with gadgets) than it is now. Just not impressed, I know I shouldn't judge too harshly but I would like a reason to care for the show and I haven't found one yet.

My laptop is Dagoba, since we keep calling the new baby (1st trimester) Yoda. My desktop is Bespin, no Tattooine yet. But I am thinking of building a new server just for the baby pictures.

Oversee is not writing or directing. He gives some input and reads the scripts, that isn't anywhere close to editing or significantly rewriting the script. This is not Joss Whedon's baby - that is Avengers 2. Which I am glad to know, I don't want him wasting time on a tv show and not concentrating on Avengers 2. I

But that's the thing, it isn't a JOSS show. He isn't writing it, he isn't directing it. He did the pilot and then handed it to his brother Jed.

Yeah, they are too pretty and too young. It is hard to believe that the best Shield Operative in the organization, that Coulson can hand pick, is Mr Grant. Or that the best hacker they could find was one working for the opposition Activist/Terrorist Organization.

Agreed, I've watched every episode of Agents of Shield (I know that is only three), it is an okay show not good nor terrible. I watch it at this point purely to see if a crossover with upcoming movies is generated by the show. The characters have no fear of failure, there is no real danger generated that makes me

Agreed... Or maybe not even Redbox considering it is all just CGI nonsense.

I agree, all I have seen is the trailers and it looks like the sequence goes: big accident, Clooney's character either 1) sacrifices himself to save her or 2) Only exists in her mind. She does some Apollo 13 like jury-rigging and tries to survive long enough to get home.

I agree with you about it being somewhat bland and non-whedonesque in terms of interesting characters. However, I think some of that comes from the fact that he has to make this appeal to people who aren't already Whedon and Marvel fans. ABC wants a hit TV show to go up against NCIS and steal their audience. While a

Unfortunately it is hard to find Arrow to watch online without paying a lot of money. Maybe it is on Hulu (which I don't have) but it isn't on Netflix streaming or Amazon Primer or the CW website (completely).

Yeah, my wife when growing up knew his niece or daughter (I can't remember) and said he would get really tired of people repeating his lines to him from the Princess Bride. I don't think he had any clue how big a cult hit the movie was going to be and, I wouldn't say he regrets it (since I don't know him), is probably

That's okay, we all get those. At least you are willing to admit to being wrong, which is unfortunately incredibly rare on the internet.

Seriously, right? I mean how can you hate this movie? From the Grandfather/grandson interaction to the true love romance to the well delivered witty lines...

Actually you are usually on oxygen during surgery. I've had 6 surgeries (from hernia to heart surgery - so an unfortunate expert) and from everything I remember they put you on oxygen while in surgery and afterwards while recovering for a bit (sometimes for days afterwards). In looking at the picture I am just

I so agree... His sci-fi was refreshing, where as his fantasy novels are fairly generic. I want Takeshi back!

I haven't read Terry Brooks in a long time but I've always felt they were good intermediate novels - not for children but too uncomplicated for an adult reader. So I guess teen or preteen books.

This: "....ninjas on motorcycles on ice." sounds like Ice Capades: Ninjas on Ice crap. I am not feeling good about this movie.

I am Wolfpack75 on a lot of sites and gaming networks - my last name is Pack, I was born in 1975, and I liked wolves as a kid. My gamertag was originally my summer camp name from 5th grade. We wore silly green felt robin hood hats with made up names on them. Since my brother also went to the same camp and was already
