I think that there is a big difference between a pit maneuver and a bump draft. One actively tries to harm the front driver, and the second tries to help him gain speed. I think that what you see as a pit maneuver is a driver taking risks with the inexact science of bump-drafting and not a malicious technique. 

There is no such thing as “too safe.” If there is more property cost and less cost to lives that’s definitely better.

I think the new Supra should have been called the gt4000 or something. That way people would have been excited about the new sports car Toyota’s making, and the size and BMW heritage would have been less of a disadvantage.

I don’t think that tweels would have any more compression/travel capability than pneumatic tires. However, they might have more lateral stiffness because a ruler-like support would bend easily vertically, but be very stiff horizontally. However, this might allow for higher profile tires, which could add suspension…
