I get that Gotham ended up doing okay for some reason but all these Batman without Batman prequels seem to miss the point of why people like the universe Batman lives in. IE we want to see Batman.

If the startup bros lie to venture capitalists, then it’s fraud. If they have a business plan (albeit a terrible one) and people decide to invest in their plan, it’s not fraud.

I always interpreted the book as more anti-organized religion than atheist. After all, there was a certain spirituality and other-world-ness to the end results. The book was just very against the way religion is used as a tool to wield power and control the masses.

I’m excited to see the polar bears used sparingly through the first couple episodes and then once per season while plot contrivances keep them off screen.

I haven’t watched since the first season but that image certainly grabbed my attention. 

I hope they get H. Jon Benjamin to voice the head drone.
