The problem with Nintendo's response, as explained before, is that it is completely tone deaf in relation to the petition. The petition called for Nintendo to either change the game in an update or that they at least acknowledge the disparity in the game .

The Heart of Darkrai

That I would care. Or that I, or anyone else, can't have a negative opinion on something. Or not that not stating that negative opinion is going to affect anything.

Err..."want"? That makes no fucking sense. If I made a game with gay marriage in it, I wouldn't care if people complained or not. People could complain; people would complain. I wouldn't necessarily want people complaining (who does?), but I wouldn't stop them because I wouldn't care. Me making the game would be proof

I am talking about two consenting adults. As long as two straight people are able to any sexually deviant thing under the sun with each other, what does it matter if I want to get married to a woman?

Tales of Xillia 1? Man, when I got the CE last year, I was still playing Tales of Graces f. I am so backlogged on games, I haven't even opened the Tales of Xillia box. :P

The real joke is that we even have to have this discussion in the first place, that the status quo takes precedence over equality, where the ranting of pissed off church moms matters more than being fair. It is 2014 and we are still doing this.

Relationships are not just a feature of this game; they are the singular point of this game. Tomodachi means "friend" and some friends in the game get into serious relationships and get married, just like in real life.

I can't live my life how I want when I can't marry a consenting adult that I love the same way you can. -_-

No you didn't. His last name is only connected to his mentor and we don't know the precise connection between names yet. ;)

I love SnK, but I love (or maybe hate) how Isayama is stringing us along with Levi.

You are missing a critical point here.

Actually, Master Balls can't fail in any Pokemon game. In Gen I, although there is a formula that calculates catch rate, a programming check is done for Master Balls first. If a trainer is using a Master Ball, the Pokemon is caught, no ifs, ands, or buts about it. From Gen II onwards, Master Balls are calculated into

Actually, that doesn't apply to the Gen I games either. In Gen I, the game does a check for Master Balls first before going into the calculation of catch rate and yadda yadda. If it is a Master Ball, then the Pokemon is caught; end of story. There is no calculation for this. The only time a Master Ball would fail in

You are both right and wrong. The games are indeed programmed so that certain Pokemon cannot be caught as Shiny Pokemon. This initially affected legendary Pokemon and event Pokemon.

You are making some bad assumptions here:

Err...as long you posted that there is a debate on which ones are rarer than the other (1st Edition vs Shadowless), I don't need to "fight" anything. I am aware that people are willing to pay big bucks for 1st Edition cards. I am also aware that people aren't aware of what they are buying or what they have.

Hmm....sorry, I said that wrong. Very wrong. Let me elaborate further:

The main reason is that the popularity for comic books has waned quite drastically. Yes, there is still a demand, but that demand is scattered based on the brand, the character, and the series that the comics are based on. A random comic book from the 70s is not going to hold a lot of value. There has to be a demand

I hate to break it to you, but the increased and steady popularity of Pokemon ensures that the value of your collection is not going to increase much.
