Yeah, when it comes to movies, I have two major obsessions: Disney animated movies and the Alien franchise. Very weird combination, I know.:)

The Yetee is still selling Twitch Plays Pokemon shirts.

God-awful looped reorchetrations are par for the course in Kingdom Hearts.

The Xenomorphs in Aliens were just as powerful as the one in Alien. However, in Aliens, we have Colonial Marines that are "prepared" to face an alien menace. They have weapons that would destroy anything that possessed a heartbeat (and kill them just as quickly). The crew of the Nostromo, however, were not at all

I agree with you on the fire thing. So far, the Xenos have only been temporarily repelled by fire versus being killed by it. The best thing it has done is piss those things off...and kill a few humans.

*Stalks through bushes*

It is not unrealistic, but boundaries should be set right at the beginning of (and during) said friendship to avoid mixed signals.

I love how Vulpix is just kinda gracefully jumping out of Misty's arms, almost floating.

The fact that the "people only use 10% of their brains" thing came out of the mouth of Morgan Freeman makes it all the more heartbreaking.

Sul Sul! Yeah, I ended up learning a bunch of Simlish out of boredom. Especially after they had popular songs translated into Simlish and put into the games. Like this highly depressing Simlish version of "Need You Now."

ACIII for me was not a letdown per se, but it wasn't the best AC game.

That is a shame, because when it comes to the basic Keyblade, you will only have that for the first couple of levels or so. After that, you will acquire other Keyblades and most people switch over to the newer, and arguably cooler, ones.

Honesty, I don't care that much. As I said, I was only clarifying the term.

They are the Drowsees now.

Err...yeah. But the term "Genwunner" is used for those who won't move past Gen 1. Latching on to the original generation is a bit immature. I'm not saying that the artist is a Genwunner; just setting the record straight.

I understand your opinion. I have thought about what the definition of anime should be and, frankly, I usually land in the definition of "Japanese cartoon" simply because everything else is subjective and complicated.

My definition is based on geographical location. I never said that it wasn't; in fact, the only thing that I have said when it comes to anime is that "it is a cartoon from Japan". That's it. I already know that Japan calls every cartoon an anime. However, in the West, we don't use that term that way; we never have. So

Wine is blanket term; champagne is not. Cartoon is a blanket term; anime is not (in the West, anyway).

And Limoux is a sparkling wine, but that doesn't mean that it is champagne. Both are wine, have a similar color, and both are "bubbly", but both have a specific definition.
