There are female Skylanders, though none are represented here. And yes, McDonalds still sells the "girl" toys and the "boy" toys.

On that day, the titans received a grim reminder....
It is for girls too, however, girls rarely compete in Pokemon tournaments (sanctioned or otherwise), so they are usually left out of the equation. The ones that do compete seldom make it to any of the top spots.
Probably not a 3DS, if that is what you are implying. Nintendo has only made a handful of special 3Ds variants over the years for contests and tournaments. This was the exception, not the rule. The prize this year will most likely be the same prize as last year (unless Play! Pokemon goes insane).
To be honest, it was a combination of research and having already known. I keep up with the competitive Pokemon scene and this tournament has been talked about on the Pokewebs for sometime now (the tournament ended a couple of days ago). There was even a live stream of it.
Well, although both of these handhelds will be quite valuable due to their uniqueness, I am merely correcting what the article is implying. He says that there is only one of these systems when there are two. They are one of a kind, yes, but there are two of these, not one.
Well, in the world of competitive Pokemon, tournament winners are essentially idolized. Pokemon Trainers look up to these people, no matter how old they are. I mean, on the official King of Dragons tournament website, there is a page dedicated to other competitive players, and they aren't even eligible to participate!
Err....their names ARE engraved on it; their names are on the back. What makes you think their names weren't engraved on it?
Well, it is open to girls too, but they seldom participate and they seldom win.
Sounds more like a slip than an intentional dig at Nintendo. I mean, I own a WiiU myself and I usually leave it out of discussions about "next-gen" consoles because the WiiU, technologically speaking, is not on the same tier as the Xbox One or the PS4 (btw, I don't own either console, so this isn't bias talking). It…
Ah...that's nice. I guess.
My favorite scene in that fight was when Tommy jumped off the building in a perfect kicking position and started kicking the slime guy. He stayed airborne, STILL EFFING KICKING, for 5 seconds or somthing.
I haven't found any game breaking bugs, but I have noticed that the game stutters quite a bit (I am playing on PS3). I don't notice it during battles or cutscenes, or maybe I am laughing too much to notice or care, but when I am walking around, it is incredibly annoying.
