I exclusively play melee-sorcerer in Diablo games, as well as many other non-meta builds on the other classes. Equating a comparatively minor amount of loud voices with the majority of people that plays these types of games is dumb.

Not at all, I know several people who have the same preference. That’s great! You can just click through/random or pick one of the available preset characters (you can play as one of the normally NPC party members) and you’re sorted.
