If you’re going to have a studio audience though, you still want to jazz them up. People in the audience go wild during Apple reveals, for example.

One thing that really stood out to me during the event was just how dead the audience was from start to finish.  It’s like they were collectively dared to show as little energy as possible during the entire thing.

I see one of these comments on literally every article where it could tangentially apply. Do you people just never take risks? Do you never ever take any action without reading the EULA or analyzing every single angle?

But he never said he didn't. Is he complaining?

Wild how much has changed in a decade. A decade ago (or so) BW was a powerhouse brand putting out banger after banger, with a brand so strong EA was slapping it on random studios like Bioware-Victory and Bioware-Mythic (both of which are now long-since shuttered, with Mythic becoming Broadsword).

This started out as a Phase One script called Captain Lou Albano: New World Order, which would’ve brought WCW and WWE characters into the MCU, but unfortunately Albano passed away before they could move forward with the project.
