I think ‘Squibs’ may be appropriate here

Hey everyone, it’s Audi here. Make sure you buy your wife the least reliable and most terrible car we ever built.

...but it’s a Golf...an econobox-based “sports” car

Except for most Audis to include the R8/R10 are actually built in the Neckarsulm NSU plant... And the only reason Audi initially survived the 70s was their acquisition of NSU and then the VAG buyout of Audi. Audi had virtually no build quality until buying NSU and it was that purchase that made them palatable to VAG

Interesting... Audi could finally have a true heir to the NSU TTS with this one. Engine’s kind of in the right place. They should totally ditch the Golf-derived TT and go with this to honor their NSU roots

NSU used superchargers back in the 30s on their race bikes and doesn’t Yamaha have one now?

Unless it’s an axial engine as envisioned by John DeLorean, it’s it truly revolutionary if it has a very conventional layout?

So, as an Acura owner, I can claim to be amongst the top three most literate car brand enthusiasts? ;)

Interesting, cause there’s no minivan being built on the 3rd gen MDX chassis yet. Just it and the new Pilot.

I think the lesson here is haters are gonna hate. I guarantee over 90% of the people talking down about the MDX have driven neither it, nor any of its perceived competitors. Yes, I actually went from driving possibly the best handling luxury ute (Bimmer X5) to the MDX, and the handling is almost to that level. It does

Except any Infiniti that has the VQ35, possibly the worst engine Nissan has ever made with known design flaws that have never been addressed in production.

Try owning a modern (ie built after 2008) BMW, then we’ll talk

When I was looking to replace that Bimmer, I was set on getting a new Explorer (with the EcoTec 4 banger with a glorious exhaust note)...the Acura never even entered my mind at first. Looked around a little more, noticed this forgotten luxury ute, and drove it. Decided in the first few minutes it was the car I was

I plan on painting the beak on my ‘16 MDX to it’s body color of Emerald Mist...not sure if I’ll leave the chrome trim around the grille alone yet. After seeing the new grille, I think it kind of makes the MDX look more generic.

Why no love for what is probably the only other luxury ute that approaches the X5's fun-to-drive factor with the reliability of a Honda? I’ll agree that my ‘16 MDX isn’t pretty to look at (except the interesting character line above the rear quarter windows) and the initial fit and finish isn’t as up to snuff as the

“We haven’t had Citroëns sold in the U.S. since 1974, and no Peugeots since 1991, so this would be one hell of a comeback.”

Since the engine is based on Honda’s J35, can I just swap the heads and turbos onto my MDX’ J35 already?

Russians have one of the best cultural senses of humour I’ve ever met in any foreigners I’ve ever met

The driver’s ed instructor yells “BRAKE BRAKE!!!” - “ТЕРМОЗИТЕ! ТЕРМОЗИТЕ!” then he calls her a “STUPID ASS” - “ДУБИНА!” and when they come to a stop in front of the kiosk, he tells her to brake again and says “Congratulations” - “ Поздравлаю вам...”...pretty funny stuff in any language.

Except the Prinz had a much more advanced engine with DOHC and better handling...although I do love me a 700
