This is a good description. He says dumb shit under the “just asking” guise and people who don’t know any better think he is smart and deep. 

Joe Rogan is not Oprah for dudes.  He is GOOP for bros.

I skip all Rogan’s episodes with Shapiro, Peterson et al. He’s far too credulous to have any kind of interesting discussion on those kinds of issues imo. I will still tune in though if it’s someone like Brian Cox or his comedian/actor friends like Joey Diaz and the like.

I think he’s one of those people who sounds smart and reasonable until you hear him talk about something you’re an expert on. Then he sounds so uneducated that it makes you wonder about everything else he’s said.
