Didn’t VW make a Rabbit based pickup years ago?

I get 21/28 with my 17 Ridgeline and NEVER go off road. No interest in that.
Why doesn’t the hybrid get better substantially better fuel economy?
Never mind the NART crap. I have 107K miles, 20K of them towing my 4000 lb travel trailer and the rest doing everything I ask of it. But looking at the new Taco for approx 3…
Who wants a grand mother car? My 86 year old mothing inlaw drives one. No thank you. POS with lots of problems. I’ll stick to my reliable Japaanese vehicles.
I’ve have a 2017 Ridgeline and love it. It has 104K miles and has been super reliable. It took my son from our Western Mass home to college in Western NY (past Rochester) thru snowstorms acting like a mountain goat. And I’ve never even put it in snow mode. The AWD is that good. Highway trips are great as I get 28 mpg…
Great coupes? Hardly. Too many of them were crap. My wife had a Chevy Beretta when new and I had Honda CRX when we were dating. At least once a month and often more, that POS was in the shop for the first 3 years she owned it. Absolute crap, which is hopefully why it was discontinued. We replaced it with a Subie,…
Is it possible that something was used to clean the car and took off the finish that protected the car from the sun? Because, you have to admit that places like AZ and other further south places it gets much hotter than GA.
When my son was younger, I bought a Mazda MPV mini van. I drove it for 3 years and it was pretty good and could haul a ton of kids or stuff inside. Then my wife drove it in years 4 and 5 and the thing literally fell apart. We got a $600 scrap payment for it. I was very leery about buying a Mazda and I unfortunately…
This is great! I had an 81 Tercel as my first car. Good fuel economy, great in the snow (with snow tires). Not fast but reliable transportation for a number of years. My next car was a CRX Si!
Nice looking Pilot. I like the red. A real red finally! For those that buy for looks or because their neighbors will approve, buying a Pilot is up to you. But if you’re your own person, and buy a vehicle for what “you need” in a vehicle, it’s hard to go wrong with a Pilot.
I’ve liked it since the beginning but always…
It was less than $4K brand new! I had an 89 that I loved and wish I still had.
My 1989 Civic CRX with 90 hp was a blast to drive and got great fuel economy. My 7 Ridgeline only has 280 hp. I can’t imaging what the Civic Type R feels like with 315!
I have always been a Honda, Subaru, Toyota guy and reluctantly bought a Mazda MPV minivan when we needed a minivan for kid transport and I needed one for work. It was perky and had plenty of space. It ran fine when I drove it a lot, but when my wife started driving it, short distances, it did not like that and started…
We have a 2015 Rockwood Mini Lite which has been excellent. We, our own fault, burnt out the electric water heating element. That’s the only item we’ve had issues with. We average 30 to 40 nights per season of camping.
But, compared to my friends units which are larger than ours and newer, ours is super, super…
Maybe that’s all the heep can beat? Or it’s technology is at the 1991 model year finally? I’d like to see it go against an modern Audi S7 or RS7.
Still hideous!
The designer of the Pontiac Aztek must be laughing himself silly. Finally something much uglier!
I also drove once with my mother in-law. We were out with friends and I had 2 tires slashed in the restaurant parking lot. We called my mother in-law who lived just up the street. She was driving a Sedan Deville by Cadillac and could easily fit the 4 of us plus her in it. She tailgated everyone while going slow or…
I was a front seat passenger with my friend, a local cop in town. We left my house and he didn’t stop at the end of the street, just rolled on thru. At the stop sign he just rolled on thru not even stopping and never using blinkers. He told me he was trained in offensive and defensive driving at least twice a year.…
A 2nd generation Honda CRX. It’s very distinctive and small and every time I see one I say to myself I should have kept the ‘89 that I had. It was an excellent (single person’s) car.
About 18-19 years ago we were heading to Atlanta from Asheville, NC with our 4 or 5 year old son. We hit traffic on the highway near the BMW factory. It was so bad and for so long, my son was playing matchboxes with other kids from other stuck cars in the middle of the highway in SC. We didn’t budge for over 6 hours…
