Isn’t this what Thin Mints are for?

At some point the two lanes have become one lane.  Just because that one lane may still be wider than a standard lane doesn’t mean you can legally (or safely) pass a car that is in your same lane.

Well, it’s during a storm, so it’s okay. /s/

I won’t argue that it’s a great movie, but I enjoyed The Adventures of Tintin. I would argue that it was better than Tank Girl.

Ignoring this driver and anyone else doing 150 mph on a city street, the signage is still not fine if residents are reporting multiple accidents due to excessive speed. The city could put those annoying ridges in the street or a speedbump in the road to force folks to slow down. How many accidents are acceptable?

The other option is someone like Oprah or 60 Minutes’s top dog getting Cosby on camera and hammering him through the whole interview so that his crimes are spelled out for the entire world. Of course, we know Cosby won’t go near an interviewer with ethics, so that’s out the door.

I’d add sous vide to the list (especially if you already have a food sealer).

I look forward to the article in six months about a bunch of Jeep Grand Cherokees being sold at a deep discount (pun intentional).

The bill didn’t get passed. There was a basic agreement in principal, which likely won’t go anywhere.

It may not be the case for this guy because he’s a state trooper; but in too many of these situations, the cop will have spent time working for multiple local police forces. It is so common for these guys to change jobs to try and outrun their shady pasts.

Sorry not to see Ferris Bueller’s dad on this list.

Good to see Hudsucker Proxy on the list. Everyone should see it, you know . . . for the kids.

Faux News is only half the problem. The other half is that being anti-vax makes the libs angry, which means that being anti-vax is the correct position.

I would have included “Making It” with Nick Offerman and Amy Poehler. The constestants on that show are kind and helpful to their competitors -- very much like we see in the British Baking Show.

Just spitballing here, but perhaps they could work to make these actions unlawful.

Using the UHaul option is not the safest move if you are traveling with more than two people. Despite what happened when we were kids, it’s not safe to throw the brood in back of an empty van. It’s also illegal.

During the holidays a few years ago, my wife started bringing chocolate with her when she traveled. She would give a piece of quality chocolate to every employee she interacted with at the airport and on the plane. Even if it doesn’t get her freebies, it is always appreciated.

I have rented a few UHaul trucks in my life and fortunately have not had any issues. Still, when I see one on the road, I do my best to give it plenty of space.

I was wondering if it could be put on a local police vehicle.

Is there a way to intelligently figure out when it will be safe to travel internationally for leisure? I am (barely) holding on to plans to visit Europe for New Years, but it’s impossible to seriously plan a trip.
