When I was running long distances, my go to was bite-size Bit-O-Honey. I don’t know what if any nutritional benefit they gave me, but they taste great and can provide a needed pick-me-up after you’ve been pounding the pavement for over an hour.

I assume if one person in a workspace gets vacation, most of the others get vacation time as well. If you step up when others take their vacation, no one is going to be upset when you take time off.
