My idea of heaven would be to sit on a bench near the Pearly Gates and watch Republican after Republican get told they are not being admitted.

Let each member of Congress vote on whether their constituents should get the stimulus.

If you feel guilty,  you can donate it. There are agencies working to support restaurant workers and others who are not working due to the pandemic.

I think it’s a good idea. There are people who will use it instead of their “regular” debit/credit card and end up saving the money, but many people will spend it (hopefully locally) and will stimulate the economy. The money will end up helping a lot of people.

I’m at the point where it’s a win if I only have to get up once to pee.

Not going to happen. The people who get killed early in horror movies are the ones who have sex, do drugs, or have fun. 

I may very well be wrong. I’m not an attorney or a Constitutional scholar, and I’ve been wrong before. On the other hand, I find it hard to believe that a goverment employee can say any damned thing they want without the possibility of consequences. There’s also a question of whether she was speaking as a school…

The First Amendment involves Freedom of Speech, not Freedom from Consequences. 

If a Pepsi Milk is like a float, why wouldn’t you try milk and root beer? Wouldn’t that be more float-like?

He’s more likely to order flags flown at half mast to mourn the loss of his Twitter account.

That would be a huge mistake by Biden. Smoothing over previous crimes will turn Biden’s supporters against him, and it certainly won’t get the GOP on his side. 

Saying someone has something on him, gives Guiliani too much credit. He’s just an old man stumbling around in the dark hoping to recapture a moment of glory. He went from America’s Mayor to a pathetic figure.

Don’t do it. I used to make up stories for my daughter at bedtime. Apparently she was a very good listener. She would often ask for the same story the next night. If I got a detail wrong, I was immediately called out.

I have the opposite problem. I’m 6'3" and have trouble sitting at a desk with a lowered area for the keyboard or (much worse) when the keyboard tray is mounted under the desk. I end up with my desk chair so low I feel like I’m falling into it when I sit down.

Is that a giant cat or a small chair?

A bit off topic; but if Trump doesn’t pay Rudy’s legal fees, but does give Rudy a pardon; isn’t that clearly a case of Trump using the pardon for personal gain? That seems like an impeachable offense. Or am I fool for thinking things like this even matter in Trump’s universe?

Employers assume you have social media accounts. If they can find them, they wonder what you’re hiding.

He may go to Parler, but he won’t leave Twitter. He loves the feeling of being on top of the world. He loves it because he can get people to kiss his ass, but he also loves it because he can easily kick down at the people who disagree with him.

We saw the same thing recently with girls who ran away to join Isis.
