Yawn! They need to keep working on it. There's still that "creepy valley" factor going on.

Hot smoking holy crap! Very cool.

I had no idea it was called LCARS, but it was one of the very first thing I noticed about STNG. I though the displays were brilliantly designed, easy to take in quickly and easy on the eyes. Thanks for the intelligent write-up Charlie J. Anders.

Don't harsh my mellow. How can any self respecting American male do any serious monkey spanking without an expose nipple?

She didn't. She mentioned it in the very first paragraph.

Now there's an idea!

The real crime here is spending $440 million per plane. I DO understand that developing an entire new class of fighter is expensive, but are we really going to deploy this against a bunch of hillbillies in the middle-east who fight with 70 year old weapons and herd goats in their spare time?

You mentioned that you had TimeWarner before. Do you think this additional competition will help everyone in your area; by "prodding" other providers to improve their services?

Spot on MaverickXS!

By and large the progressive left is doing its best to honor the dead with sympathy and compassion. The normal level of anti-gun sentiment on hold for a day.

So many questions and so little detail. What does it look like, what does it run, where is it to be made, what processor does it use, how many cameras, what social networking features will it have? My personal favorite question is "how easy is it to disassemble in order to recycle it?" Not too many people care about

Ya. I hear you, but honestly those who did not jump on the DVD bandwagon are loath to do so now. I know, I know, VCR image quality sucks, but some people have huge collections and I honestly can't blame them for wanting to be able to continue to play those tapes.

I was underwhelmed by Avatar. Don't get me wrong, I liked it's potential, but all the interesting ideas got pushed aside for splashy special effects and carnage. Titanic didn't need any help, but maybe an intermission. Brave is next on my list. Prometheus will be rented. Three D just seems like a dandy excuse to

I wouldn't pay eight dollars more for a 3D much less a 4D. 3D is still a gimmick no matter how it is packaged. It adds nothing to the film experience and in some cases actually distracts from the movie.

Can't. Read. The. Screen!

I'm shocked, shocked I tell you, that not a single Philip K. Dick book is mentioned. Not one.

Jobs is truly dead and gone. He was vehemently opposed to both an iPad in this form factor and Siri and yet here they are.
