I don’t think you know what you are talking about, wheelchairs aren’t designed to be “strapped down” that’s generally when they break.
how many horses does delta move a year?
Lol, those are specialized planes, not domestic 737s, nice fail there buddy.
i don’t really think you know what you are talking about. Bags are tied together in a giant pile inside the aircraft. wheelchairs aren’t designed to be tied down, which is where most of the damage occurs. it would require an aluminum box to tie down effectively.
Like i said, the airlines will figure it out, they will make people provide a case for their wheelchair. The airport suppplied vendors who move the people in the wheelchair are going to have to be supplied by the city. Chicago’s literally broke, trying to provide trainers for all the different languages and ensuring…
This is going to be an absolute mess. The people who are handling the wheelchairs often barely speak english, having them pass a test is going to lead to huge failure rates and actually less service. I’ve done a lot of work with the company that supplies the wheelchairs at ORD and it’s not their fault.
I can tell you for a fact google maps traffic doesn’t work in India, even in the big cities. Comparing what google can and can’t do in India vs a modern country is silly.
haha welcome to life in Chicago. The CPD can’t be bothered with this type of stuff
I believe his wife asked to not press charges, which was a big factor. I think the state is also suing him for recovery damages.
It’s door close/door open. The first person is wrong.
This is not true, they are paid from door close. If they are on call they are paid for their check in at a lower rate.
are you at a smaller location? For awhile there was a trickle down due to the inability to get cars they were shuffling things out of the airports to the smaller centers. I think it will be fixed and go back to normal soon
It always makes me laugh when they include San Bernardino on these, as if it’s an actual city unto itself. Find downtown on a map.
Was hoping for a link to the one in the stock photo, it’s good looking
It’s weird they have zero mention on how they know it’s a suicide in the article. Must be something pretty obvious on tape somewhere.
Not really... Carriers can’t traverse it and the US doesn’t shuttle support ships between oceans anymore. It’s already gotten low enough that many of the cruisers can’t fit through anyway.
Weird to cite only 737 information when this was a 319.
oddly timed study. Stops in April of 2022, so it’s mostly covering COVID times where staffing was a nightmare because everyone was getting Omicron, and supply chain issues were a nightmare with maintenance. Would be more interesting to see the whole of 2022 compared to 2019
I’m sure there will be a significant reduction.
