I have a new Civic SI that I love dearly and has really impressed me as a FWD car. That said, the best FWD car I’ve driven was a GTI.

I absolutely agree about the seats but disagree on the stereo. The difference between the Bose and the ELS is large. I’ve listened to both, have the Bose, and wish I had a better stereo.
I’m still eyeing up a base M3 with the manual. I’d get the Supra if I didn’t have a family
That’s too big for a watch
I am not a fan of chrome on almost all modern vehicles. Never thought of the reflective annoyance but I can see it
I know what you mean. I absolutely believe the application matters. I’m a BMW nut. I would never black out my e30. Nor can I think of any BMW I’d want to own blacked out. I’ve seen a few that I thought were neat.
Well, shoot. I already sold the car after I read the comment!
This is a very fair point.
Can’t tell if you’re being sarcastic, but I actually love the look. I have for well over 20 years since I started getting into cars. I don’t do it because it looks tough, wealthy (really?) or to follow a trend. I enjoy it because I like the way it looks.
That thing looks incredible. I have a ‘78 XS1100 on the lift in my garage and I’m hoping it’ll look half as good when I’m done with it in a few years.
I don’t need it but I sure do want it. I just can’t get over the big spoiler on an otherwise handsome car. I’d pay the premium for the ITS over with Type R for that reason alone.
I seriously considered an Integra a couple months ago when I got a new daily. If it were a coupe, it wouldn’t have even been in the running. Most people need 4 doors. I’m in that group. I ended up with a Civic SI since I really didn’t need all the extra features and saw an opportunity to save some coin. These aren’t…
I guess it’s different for certain people. This was maybe 12 years ago and I’ll still sleep through an earthquake.
I used to live next door to a firehouse in Jersey City NJ. They would go out on calls multiple times a night. Not only would they fire up the sirens outside my bedroom window, the lights would turn my room into a disco (even with blinds and curtains).
NRG steering wheel.. Automatic ND at any price. Beautiful car otherwise. Still not worth $18k.
This made me chuckle lol yea, I have no idea how you’d fit a hard case with a P-bass, hard case with a Gretsch, the Laney, AND horns in most smaller passenger cars. Let alone a Camaro. Pretty damn cool either the M240i or Supra. I’m a big BMW guy myself. I’ve had my eye on the Supra for a while, especially since…
That’s a tough one. What cars are you looking at? Amp size would be a huge influence. At the time I was using a Hot Rod Deville 4x10. It wasn’t small by I could’ve stuffed it in a Cooper with two guitars. Barely.
I’ve got two..
Yea, apparently 50% of people aren’t gonna like to hear this, but that car will sell at that price. I’ve seen well preserved ZHP’s selling for around $15k lately.
This was my first project, too. I’ve had a few since but I still have this particular car. It’s an s52 e30 (formerly M52, s50, S52 v.1, etc). I learned quickly that I’m a while-you’re-in-there type. That’s another reason it cost so much more than expected.
