I’m fascinated.

I’m not about to defend Stadia as some sort of essential and vital cog in gaming. But it does have its positives. Over the weekend I subscribed for a month of Stadia Pro for ten bucks, since there are two recently-added free games which would otherwise cost me $20 each to buy. As long as I can beat both within 30 days…

Well, I guess I can finally give up on the fantasy of this being playable in PSVR, and that is a shame. Tiptoeing through VII in the headset was, by far, the best VR experience I have had.

The Twilight Zone.

For me it was the “smug prick” look he tends to have as his resting face. Put me off of him at first, but it didn’t take me long to come around. He’s been the polar opposite of the Mattrick era, in every positive way.

I won’t pretend it’s some groundbreaking event of a game, by any means. But I happen to have played through The Raven Remastered earlier this year, and I enjoyed the story and some of the character beats. Tough to beat “free,” as well.

I have to go with the Xbox. Which is not to say I didn’t really enjoy a small handful of games on it (Psychonauts and KOTOR, not to mention it’s how I was able to experience at least the ports of Half-Life 2 and Doom 3), but I was a victim of bad timing, splurging on the console for myself just a handful of months…

It’s on my radar as a possibility, which I would NOT have guessed. My current Xbone is almost exclusively a Gamepass machine. This seems like a surprisingly affordable way to stay with Gamepass while still getting access to the new gen, and that interests me since Gamepass is such an absurdly good deal.

An awful lot of folks in these comments looking down their noses at others and being superior.

I stopped reading and just stared at the wall for several minutes, with this sentence rolling around in my head and chest.

Exactly this. They had to potentially write him out of the series, but leave a backdoor.
