Chenoweth is killing it, Jennifer Hudson was great, and Derek Hough is decent enough. But I’m finding all of the “kid” characters to be subpar. These were the best people they could find? Inez is the only one I’m really impressed with.

Darren Criss’s “behind the scenes” commentary is pointless and distracting. Why?
If you have an internet connection, why would you download the videos at all? Why not just stream from Netflix?
I’m okay with musicals starring people who aren’t extremely talented singers, per say. Hell, Debbie Reynolds was in Singing in the Rain, and she wasn’t a hugely talented singer or dancer, IMHO. She definitely couldn’t really keep up with Gene Kelly or Donald O’Connor, which you can see by how “Good Morning” was…
No snark at all - thanks for this post. JDI has done fantastic work advocating for reforms, particularly the Prison Rape Elimination Act in 2003.
Glympse does this. Works like a charm for me.
This situation is *exactly* the reason the Founders created the Electoral College in the first place. And honestly, if a candidate as manifestly unqualified as Trump doesn’t trigger the EC into action, then it basically has no reason to continue to exist ...
His argument is totally sound: the electoral college was set up to deny the will of the people if the people vote for a lunatic. It was not set up for the sake of smaller states or some other nonsense I have read. The Founding Fathers(tm) didn’t trust voters. The FFs also didn’t want direct election of u.s. Senators.…
There is no mention of the Burqa in the Qu’ran only a call to dress modestly. The Burqa is cultural not Islamic.
Banning any piece of clothing is insane, including a burqa. And Merkel is doing it because she thinks her party is about to go down, like every liberal-democratic government in the US & Europe so she’s doing something she clearly opposes personally for political survival. But let’s not also pretend that most women who…
A feminist wants any woman to do whatever she wants to in her life as long as she doesn’t hurt anyone else. If a lady wants to wear a burka, let her.
Idk about atheist and feminist, but you’re definitely a troll.
The concept sounds really creepy at first, until you realize just how useful location tracking is (with consent, of course).
I’m often meeting friends and my GF somewhere, it’s nice being able to just *Ping!* oh there you are! Instead of conversations like
“Yeah I’m 5th and lawrence”
“Okay go west I think, because I’m on 5th and cutter.”
“Which way is west?”
“Towards... umm the Hard Rock”
“Okay I think I’m going the right way, do you see me?”
Considering the modern image of Santa Clause was invented by Coca-Cola....
I thought the whole point of having a high deductible was having the awesomeness of an hsa? Do people actually have them and not have an hsa? I didn’t enjoy it when I had it last time because we were drowning in bad spending habits both currently and in the past but I’d revisit the notion once we’ve had kids and…
Yep! If you get insurance through your work I think you can have contributions deducted automagically from your paycheck.
And if you already have an HSA, consider contributing to it like an IRA/Retirement Account.
To anyone thinking about going to the gym after reading this article, but you’re afraid of what others will think of you, just remember, you may be the fattest most out of shape person in the building, but you’re much better off than all the people sitting at home!
I saw a comment somewhere that said [paraphrasing], “You can have either the 2nd Amendment or the ability of police to consider the presence of a gun as a lethal threat to their safety. Not both.”
