That sounds awesome. It doesn’t work out here. You’ll be the guy “passing” someone at 70 mph clogging up traffic for miles because everyone else is trying to be in the left lane going 90 mph. You can claim that you’re in the right, but practically you’re not playing by the same rules as the majority of regular drivers

Years ago, my brother came to visit and thought I was joking. Until he borrowed my car and went for a drive.

Connecticut: I cannot emphases this enough - If you are driving through on I-95, ignore the posted speed. You will cause an accident if you try to go the posted speed. It gets as low as 55 mph in some areas (are you kidding me?) but if you get on the interstate and can’t get up to 70-80... good luck. The left lane

Yes! Over the years I’ve tried all of these options for making coffee (and more) and finally realized - duh- that my standard ceramic pour over and a pack of filters was the way to go. Especially for car camping (which many of these options would only make sense for.) The French press seemed to be best but cleaning it

I always find it funny when someone who is probably totally OK paying by check (where you give strangers your name, address, routing number, account number, and a copy of your signature) tells me that I’m the one playing fast and easy with getting my identity stolen.

Whereas I’ve taken advantage of this to wake up before my boyfriend, go to Starbucks, drink my drink, then get a refill coffee to bring to him. He was so appreciative that I “bought” him coffee and I was like... yeah... sure I did. lol

I’m realizing that one of the best ways I could maximize this would be to order a shot of espresso, down that, then get a refill of a coffee to go. Hmmm... lol

I always just drink regular old boring black coffee too! And, quite frankly, I don’t think Starbucks is actually that expensive if you are just drinking coffee.

If I recall correctly, you don’t even need to get the same thing as your refill as you did for your regular drink. Meaning, (I believe) you can order a tea and get a refill of a coffee, or order a latte and (while not getting another latte as a refill of course) get it a refill as a coffee or tea. It essentially means

I am not a great person, but I do something when going through airport security that makes me feel like I am a good person. I always travel with my bag (backpack, satchel, whatever) and, when I’m a few minutes from the front of the line I put EVERYTHING in that bag... at least everything I can. My phone, my keys, my

And? I pay for a lot of benefits. I pay for a museum membership which has a benefit of reciprocal membership and extended hours. I pay for a nicer seat on an airplane which comes with benefits of an extra checked bag and priority boarding. It can both be paid for and a benefit.

For good or bad, it becomes a lot easier to consider it “worth it” when I’m subsidizing my family’s use of these services lol. My parents and at least one sibling are part of my “household” and get at least the free shipping plus some other benefits I think.

I had AMAZING success the first year I grew kale. It was so prolific, I was able to harvest so much kale throughout the summer and have it keep coming back, and I barely did anything to care for it.

Wow, the NFC automatic trigger could be a game changer!

Agree! Also, many college and university libraries have gone to a LOT of effort to digitize their special collections so that they are more accessible to people. Since I can access a high-resolution image, zoom in, print it, etc. of a priceless rare book or manuscript or map, I have a hard time treating that piece to

This may be something that is common place and I just didn’t know before, but most of the libraries near me let you check out passes to local attractions. Like, you literally can check out 3 free passes to the zoo, a museum, aquarium, etc.

I think younger me learned a lot of vocabulary from reading rather than having someone speak it to me and it definitely showed. I remember saying the word “antithesis” out loud once in high school or college, pronouncing it wrong (literally said anti-thesis) and my professor said “you read a lot don’t you.” lol There

But I think it’s clear that the lion’s share of streaming content was not captured by SXM. I think my point is that, with the advantages that you point out (which are really good ones), it’s even more reason that they should have been the leader on this, in my opinion.

SiriusXM reminds me of how Blockbuster dealt with Netflix in that they should have been WAY ahead of the mobile music game. Starting in cars, they should have branched out to let you listen online via browser and then via an app on day one. They would have been a major contender against Amazon Music, Spotify, etc.

I’m very interested in the concept of smart remotes, but when I’ve dabbled with voice control, I can’t really get it to do what I want... For example, if I got this Harmony remote, I’m sure it can launch Netflix for me, but the first screen that comes up is asking me which profile to select, mine or my boyfriends. Can
