And don’t be one of those guys who 1) takes 45 seconds EACH ROLL to finagle the dice in some magical way or 2) throws the dice so hard that they fly off the table half the time. It’s SO annoying.

Yup, you get surrounded by these people placing 7 bets at a time and think you should keep up... nope. I usually just do the pass, then I’ll play some odds bets but I find that I always do better and have more fun the slower I take it.

Ha ha ha, any time I’ve had someone betting like that I never saw anyone be actually mad... maybe a grumble if they won while we all lost though lol.

Right? You can just sit there, not knowing anything, and keep betting on the pass line and just being there at the table makes you feel like some classy gambler who knows what they are doing lol.

This isn’t even the point here... not compared to her violation... but do law officers really think that the personal and social harm of marijuana (for those who insist there is any) would actually outweigh the personal rights of an individual this much? How can you even justify that?

Agreed! It’s my favorite way to spend time at a casino. Too much time at the slots and I feel like a hermit and too much time playing other games and I feel like everyone is taking it way too seriously. I’ve always found that with craps most people actually have fun.

I know this seems counter-intuitive because it is a complex game with a ton going on and a crowd of people, but I always recommend craps as a go-to casino game for the following reasons:

My depressing view of The Jetsons has always been that we are just seeing an ultra-wealthy family. There are still people on the ground laboring in a polluted hellscape to keep the Jetsons in their way of life.

YES! I also fear that much of what is shared is 3rd party anecdotal story... like, I don’t think it’s as much “hey, this morning someone broke into my car” or “yesterday after work I came home and realize someone stole an Amazon package from my porch” but rather it’s always something like “be careful, there’s been

Next Door has been really useful for me... in seeing how many of my neighbors racially profile teenagers of color. Probably once a month someone sends a “warning” message saying that some “suspicious” kids are riding their bikes around the neighborhood “casing the joint,” accompanied by a photo that the neighbor took

If you are a male at a private college, there is a very good chance you benefit from affirmative action. The school I work at would probably be 80-85% female if we had gender-blind admissions. But, in an effort to create an artificial gender balance (the pros and cons for this are a topic for a different

I don’t get too bummed out by the “80 percent of people who voted for him think he’s doing a good job” numbers because I realize that 80% of the 48% of people who voted for him means that only 38% of America thinks he’s doing a good job... that is horrible. (I’m using rough math here but you get the point.) And,

I really do think that in his heart of hearts, Trump thinks that the people love him, that’s he’s popular, and that the polls are wrong because of things like this. He really only surrounds himself with yes-men. He only focuses on the good press. I think he genuinely believes that America loves him. It’s got to be

I agree that I was also frustrated when I heard that line of dialogue... It made that a little too assured and too easy. But also, I’m pretty sure that the Iron Bank will accepted melted gold as currency. The dragon’s fire isn’t hot enough to transmute the element so it definitely won’t be destroyed. I would have

The only fool is the person who doesn’t realize his sentence is mangled English. The difference between you and me is that I proved I know how to use “hella” correctly if I want to and you’ve proven that you can’t tell when you are being incorrect.

The artificially created life. The whole theme park aspect. The eccentric billionaire in a power struggle with a board limiting his vision. The whole “life finds a way” thing. Even the “history as entertainment” is a theme he re-addressed in Timeline. I just know that, as I watched it, there were a number of times

Interestingly, I would argue that the fact he isn’t called king is actually sexist in the fact that it assumes that, in the hierarchy, king is always superior to queen. If the queen marries a man and he becomes king, we have such an ingrained bias assuming that he is the top royal, the real power even if the queen

No, just enough machine learning to know what you like lol.

Well, I would argue that is definitely a theme present in Jurassic Park, Westworld, and Timeline. From what I remember of Prey, I believe you would find the theme there as well (but it’s been a long time since I’ve read that.) You see hints of it in The Andromeda Strain and Sphere (particularly the

I don’t think I’m going to take feedback from someone who critiques me by using a run-on sentence ending in some mangled English like “you sound stupid how you applied it.” Your own English is, quite frankly, hella poor.
