Well, the Nixon administration is starting to make a lot more sense now. I’m young enough to have only learned about it in the history books and I never really understood how Nixon could have been so paranoid, so small, even has he achieved the Presidency. Now that I see it playing out, I get it. Some people are just

Part of me wants to be saddened by how petty this is. But a larger part of me is already saddened by the fact that we cannot take for granted any longer that our elected officials would naturally side with the truth over politically expedient lies.

I’m planning and upcoming trip and intend to bring my Roku to plug into the TV. I have one of those tiny 128 gig thumb drives I attach to the Roku so I can bring with some of my already-downloaded or ripped content but I was just thinking how nice it would be to be able to download some Netflix content to that. But I

I think that in every single way possible, Pope Francis is the anti-Trump.

I’m going to start saying “some people voted for him... not most people, not even half, but some.”

And to be fair, I think we can all agree that rich people deserve to have a greater say in how our country is run (Trump’s Cabinet appointees sure make it seem that way) so I think the only just way to do it is to make it so that everyone gets one vote for each dollar they have in savings or invested (but to make sure

Remember that face on Mars NASA covered up back in like the 70s... it was the face of Trump -Our Lord and Savior- but it was buried again by the sands of time because the world just wasn’t ready yet to hear the Good Word.

You know what, I think we should just go all the way with this logic. Can we make tax evasion a hate crime? Insider trading? Bribery? Kickbacks?

I laugh (as much as one can laugh at this Vonnegut-style scenario) thinking back to how Trump, outraged, countered that he only received ONE million dollars from his father when he got started... not 14 million. So, you know, he’s just like any other working class guy just trying to make it in this world.

Right? And this one is probably extra germy what with all the time he spends with the sick and poor and all “those” types of people.

I can only pray that we get him out after 4 years so that we can all live the rest of our lives knowing that never, not even once, did the majority of voters want Donald Trump to be President of the United States.

I heard that, as long as 20-30 years ago, immigrants from across the globe came to the US specifically to give birth to children who would someday be able to vote for Trump. And travelers from a distant future, able to manipulate the very fabric of time and space, travel back to 2016 to pay homage and vote for Trump.

When more people actually voted for your opponent, it’s hard to rally the proverbial troops under the banner of “look how much support I have!”

Disagree. Read up on the subject so you can have an informed discussion or please don’t participate. I won’t be reading or responding to any addition comments here so you don’t need to reply but for your own sake please do some research before you keep trolling people with incorrect information on the subject.

So you do admit that you can sand down a skillet to change the texture? You are retracting your “No. You can’t sand down the texture” claim?

OK, well we can agree to disagree. (I think you are incorrect and a lot of people who know their cast iron talk about successfully sanding down their cast iron to change the texture which is actually just the finish as a result of the modern manufacturing process. So, yes, it is a debate.) But none of this is the

Yes, but that doesn’t affect the quality of the product... You can sand it down yourself and re-season if you want a smoother texture. But even so, as it relates to my original comment, I think $15 for a skillet that will last a lifetime with moderately proper care is a good cost-to-quality ratio.

You aren’t mandated to use their factory-provided seasoning. Sand it off and re-season if you want. The quality isn’t in the seasoning; it’s in the cast iron. But also, you’re unfairly comparing new Lodge cast iron to “old Wagner or Griswold.”

I can’t think of a good example of a “buy for quality” purchase I regretted... but I definitely have one that I DID NOT regret: Lodge cast iron cookware. It’s one of the very few things in life where amazing quality meets absurdly low pricing. Got $20? Here’s a skillet that’s just as good as any $300 cast iron skillet
