*crack* AND IT’S OUT OF THE PARK!!!

Critics in 2014: “Not enough Godzilla and too much time on humans!

I grew up watching Godzilla tail-sliding into Megalon, twin fairies chanting a magical Moth into existence, Anguirus and Godzilla “roar-talking” words at each other and a rose being psychically embedded with the soul of a dead woman. I am ready for this film, no matter how weak the plot is. Let. Them. Fight.

Hawaii to do list:

Is it possible Barry isn’t in any of the pictures because he’s the man behind the camera?

Actually that was just Coke Bee, Coke’s newest drink line.

“TODAY was one of the WORST days I’ve had in a VERY long time.”
Imagine leading such a charmed life that the impact of the NBA Draft lottery could have this kind of impact on you.  I’m just saying Steven A. may gain some life perspective by talking to someone like Floyd Mayweather’s ex.

Sounds like they sell dragon fire and dragon fire accessories.

A few minutes of pure joy!  I loved the Young Ones.

Probably the greatest episode of the Young Ones. The scene just before it features the fantastic introduction of Bacon Sandwich, the Pig Ferret.

This was by favorite Young Ones episode when I watched in in the 1980s; when I watched it again I was floored at recognizing Laurie, Fry, and Thompson from Footlights College Oxbridge

Classic. I love (P)Rick’s dancing on that first wide shot of the two colleges.

Now playing

Mayhew was the ideal fan’s celebrity. He was a big, affable guy who lucked into an iconic role...the role of a lifetime. He had no pretentions of becoming a superstar beyond who he was; he didn’t try to outlive the role as Shatner and Nimoy had tried to do in the 1970s. He had no delusions of how the “Chebacca thing”

So long Chewie.

I met him at a sci-fi convention a decade or so ago and he was genuinely friendly and fun to listen to. His story about filming the forest scenes for Return of the Jedi in “Bigfoot country” (northern California) got a good laugh. I will definitely treasure the Chewbacca action figure he autographed for me.

No one’s ever really gone....

I was second string in Canada in High School does that count as “playing”.

I only knew the Tom Landry one, and only thanks to King of the Hill.
