Weathers’ performance in Predator had nuance. As the outsider of Arnold’s team, he acts as an audience surrogate at times, disbelieving some of the alien stuff at first and then getting drawn into the horror of getting stalked by a more technologically advanced murder-happy monster. The scenes leading up to his…
You’re intentionally overlooking Ryan Gosling.

DAMMIT. I’m tired of Christmas specials. When are we going to get the Bonfire Night specials, or the 4th of July specials!!!!

Okay, can they also work on making the booster packs CHEAPER?!?!
The big complaint I’m seeing from my online peeps is that this should have been released in theaters.
If I recall, the guys who worked this episode - Glen Morgan and James Wong - originally wrote that CSM would kill Frohike at the end to demonstrate how dangerous CSM could be. Typecast as a gangster, he still put on major performances in other genres - even comedies - and was constantly denied an Oscar nomination. Double Indemnity, where he played the good guy insurance partner to Fred MacMurray’s scheming lead role, should have…
There are fans of the movie Out of Sight that SCREAM about J.Lo (and the other actors) getting snubbed for that movie. A critical review of Lopez’s film roles would highlight her performance of Karen Sisco as Oscar-worthy.
It was fun, and slightly funny, but I was thrown off by the almost-cheap-looking CGI they did to create MODOK. It wasn’t the darkly chiseled, sneering design we’re used to seeing in the comics - which helps make an otherwise campy villain appear menacing enough to BE a murdering cyborg - it was just poofing Corey…
Who here cried at the Farmer’s Dog ad???
Maximillian from The Black Hole.
It’s a cross between Lake Placid, Snakes On a Plane, and Winnie the Pooh.
