If I recall, the guys who worked this episode - Glen Morgan and James Wong - originally wrote that CSM would kill Frohike at the end to demonstrate how dangerous CSM could be. But they were ordered by the producers not to, which ironically echoed the part of the backstory where CSM found out “they changed my ending”.
Arguably her shining moment was the episode “Harley’s Holiday,” where Harley’s chaotic behavior - even when she was *trying* to be good - defined how her character could, should, and always will be portrayed then, now, and forever.
She never sang as a punk performer but she carried the spirit: the fearless dedication to the art she made and to her own honest counsel.
Would like to note, historically speaking, Edward G. Robinson. Typecast as a gangster, he still put on major performances in other genres - even comedies - and was constantly denied an Oscar nomination. Double Indemnity, where he played the good guy insurance partner to Fred MacMurray’s scheming lead role, should have…
There are fans of the movie Out of Sight that SCREAM about J.Lo (and the other actors) getting snubbed for that movie. A critical review of Lopez’s film roles would highlight her performance of Karen Sisco as Oscar-worthy.
Who here cried at the Farmer’s Dog ad???
Maximillian from The Black Hole.

Arguably THE band that codified the Southern Rock sound, with a slew of hits (just never any #1s, hilariously enough) and enough bad blood between the surviving members to make Fleetwood Mac look like a happy family.
Okay, maybe I didn’t plan this shit through...
Paulie may have moved slow. Only because Paulie didn’t have to move for ANYbody.
First Ray Liotta and now Paul Sorvino?!?!
God’s coming after the Goodfellas stars!!!
Throwing it out there that AV Club needs to do a retrospective on Warner’s performance as EVIL in “Time Bandits,” one of the best villainous performances in a fantasy genre film.
The “Lasers! 8 OCLOCK! DAY ONE!”
EVE players: is there any mining of Dalek parts for new crafted market goods?!?!?!?!?!
I think WEDU in Tampa/St. Pete was Thursday nights at first.
A number of Who storylines from the 1960s and 1970s delved into the economics/political topics - colonization, corporate bureaucracies, the inherent faults of capitalism, communism, socialism, mercantilism, any isms really, etc. - and there’s been a couple of similar themed episodes recently - “Oxygen” comes to mind -…
I remember her working on a skit show on FOX with Julie Brown (“Earth Girls Are Easy” fame) and it lasted two seasons... Lemme go check.
HERE IT IS. She was on The Edge, between 1992-1993. https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0103407/?ref_=nm_flmg_act_63
