the Norton version was a better-paced action movie reboot, and Norton did a better job of playing Banner than Bana did. But they made a hash of the final third of the movie creating the Abomination for a slugfest in Harlem that got too confusing for viewers, and it was kind of hard picturing thin-faced Norton morphing

One of the things you miss about the X2 review is how it plays up the “coming out” aspect of the Mutants ‘verse, with the tense and painful moments at Bobby’s house being a well-acted low-key but still important scene.
