How representative is the pilot on Santa Clarita Diet? I watched that and was not real enthused about where any of this might go.

I would have been pretty much the perfect audience for Low Winter Sun, but nope.
Kumail on the recent Nerdist complaining about people saying terrible things online:
(paraphrased) "People who just say terrible things, like in the AV Club comments. And they aren't anywhere near the the worst."
No, he's Pizza the Hutt.
It was also written and directed by Scott Alexander and Larry Karaszewski, who have a puzzling filmography (Ed Wood, People Vs. Larry Flynt, The People Versus O.J. Simpson, Problem Child, Problem Child 2, Problem Child The T.V. Series).
Nope, the show's done the exact opposite of what you've said, repeatedly. Your position about Amos is contradicted by what I've seen with my own two eyes on the screen and that makes all your talk about the authors' politics suspect at best.
Weird they don't include it every time when you watch on the SyFy Now app.
I don't know if it does any good, but I always watch it on my Playstation Vue-provided Siffy subscription live and then put it on the SyFy Now app while I'm playing video games to make sure they're counting my viewership as I'm not a Nielsen family. Can't hurt.
I guess I'm not surprised you find it nonsensical or arbitrary, because you keep saying things about the plot that are inaccurate, so from your perspective it would likely seem that way.
Might well be. Those people love acronyms.
Osbourne, Ozzie. See also greatest singers ever, one of. "Politicians hide themselves away, they only started the war. Why should they go out to fight? Leave all that up to the poor." is a lyric from War Pigs from Black Sabbath.
Nope, they didn't follow Strickland. The show shot it like kind of like that probably in service of the horror movie vibe they were going for, but they actually watched the recordings of Strickland leading Mei down there on the day of the Ganymede incident and then what must be weeks later because of travel time…
Good point. I'm sure Avasarala or Cotyar could come up with something for her but probably not in super short notice.
Strickland has been gone from Ganymede for some unknown to the audience amount of time, so it's not even clear he knows what happened to his people there and the creature the Roci burned yet.
Tell Mrs. Hob thumbs up on the wit.
I'd been warned ahead of time.
I think we can all agree Naomi (and Dominique Tipper) is crazily attractive. I'd be willing to submit some sort of formal motion, if I could remember my Youth in Government parliamentary procedure better.
I did too, but I'd like it more to see someone try that trick on Amos and Amos just shoots him through the body of his supposed shield.
I don't think it needed a big action sequence. They could have ditched the fight and just made it a pure race against time and have Bobbie just "brap, brap, brap" drop those guys with a few gun bursts at the last second. They had their big action sequences earlier in the season that compared favorably with anything…
Crewman on the Arboghast we hadn't seen before.
