You know, I hate to say it, but my wife's Honda Accord is better built than any of the three Caravans I have had. And I just don't get it.

I thought it was because of the the way they treat their employees — with respect, higher pay, and benefits. We had a non-unionized steel mill up here, the only one in about ten in the steel heyday, and they had yearly Christmas parties, excellent pay (without the Union dues), got built a gym for employees and their

Gee, things sure are different south of the border. Here they had power, but co-operate in a rather begrudgingly way otherwise they end up losing. Either the jobs end up going back to the US (the dreaded Autopact between the US and Canada already ended, so it is competition time again inside the Big Three), or the

Ahhhh... Jezza, never one for controversy, is he?

Well at least it wasn't two Corvettes slamming into one another.

C3 Corvette. Because Jalopnik.com says that it looks like penis.

Chinese designing cars? Nah... we copy all the things!

If that is the case, then it is probably parked in my ex-girlfriend's... uh... garage.

It's only racist if you aren't Chinese like them kids up there. Therefore, I am not racist and can criticize my own heritage with impunity. This is one of the many advantages of being Chinese... that and things like volleyball, math, and computer games kind of come naturally.

When I first read this, I thought, "Where is this? Surrey, British Columbia near some international school filled with rich Chinese kids?"

It was only to add to the excitement. You know, the drama of it all.

Land there in bad storm. Or even at the new one. That will give you a weird rush. it seems that they just brush it off, a little rain, some wind, lots of thunder. Meanwhile, you are white knuckled.

The Chinese food is better in Hong Kong though.

Extreme drifting!

Last flight I had out there was about a year prior to shutdown. It was great walking down a long terminal, leaving the short way through customs, through a little airport, and into a waiting taxi cab.

I used to do the same thing when I was a younger lad. The thing that did it for me was the turn and then the landing with the forced perspective of seeing your wing tip hanging over the water. My aunt lived in a flat that was built right at the edge there mainly because it was cheap and she knew that planes would

The old Kai Tak. Sure the new train ride is nice and relaxing, the new airport (Chep Lap Kok) is a wonderful shopper's paradise and good food can be eaten there (seriously good food), and you can now sleep without worrying about a jet in your hotel room, but I miss the old airport...

The way I imagined how seatbelts worked was a Rube Goldberg machine.
