Excellent. I enjoy these concept art showcases.

Every time I see a "Fine Art" post with Bioware concept art I hope it's featuring Mike Sass. He's no longer with Bioware far as I know, but did some iconic stuff including the covers for Knights of the Old Republic & Jade Empire and some great Dragon Age concept art. I met him this summer and he's a really friendly

Damn, I read this column every week and just shake my head - the US gets so many more (and better) deals on games than us Canucks. Our Best Buy & Amazon prices, bonuses and sales never even come close.

I haven't seen an internet banner or pop-up ad in years. Adblock Plus.

That would make entirely too much sense.

That's an interesting theory about the MS thing. Could be right.

Dynasty Warriors or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Muzou

If Revolution ends up running another Kickstarter for BASS2 after Broken Sword 5 comes out I'll gladly back them again.

Them's the breaks, then. You never know - perhaps later in the console's lifespan there will be enough exclusive third-party titles that you like, and a low enough console price, that you'll change your mind about it.

Have you considered that the fact that Bayonetta 2 is going to be on Wii U might be a good indication that OTHER games you would like would also be on it? Maybe the Wii U will be worth a purchase from you and others like you, one day. Or, keep raging. Whatever.

To me this just shows how much Kickstarter is making up as they go along, and are unsure of even what their own system is and how it should work. Not surprising when you see how much they have blown up in recent months, but it does not fill me with much confidence that they know what they are doing (though I argue

Is Razor's Edge just a remastered Ninja Gaiden 3, or does it add in significant new content beyond dismemberment mechanics?

Come on bud, transfar that frown upside down!

I absolutely hated Myst. Back in those days I played just about nothing but point & click adventure games, but I never enjoyed Myst at all. It's a bit nutty to say it's a "bad game", though. Good on anyone who enjoyed it – dif'rent strokes, and all that.

The security-hacks we've seen in major, even government, systems in the past few years don't fill me with much confidence.

I figure if people can carve themselves out a niche to play an MMO for nearly 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, or watch reality TV all day everyday; they can make it possible to sit plugged into their VR all day as well. People will always find a way.

Looks like Ascension of the Metatron.

You really have no idea of how a business works, how independent third-party developers handle cash-flow, how the current publisher/developer interaction works, how developers use kickstarter, why developers use kickstarter, why consumers fund games on kickstarter, and probably a lot more.
