Oh, it was most definitely said. There is another very active GT commenter who spent three whole days calling me "racist" because I made a negative comment about Beyonce. (ex: Not liking Beyonce meant I don't "like seeing powerful black women" which means I'm racist.) Her comments were increasingly mean, hurtful and

I was perma blacklisted from there for daring to say I do not like Beyonce. (Which, according to several GT posters, meant I am "racist.") I'm cool with it, I hate the negative attitudes and extremism. Only took one day of name calling, racism accusations and crying in my office to come to that point.

Dude (er, lady), join the club. I'm not afraid to call out militant Jezebel/GT commenters when they start spouting off exclusionary, bigoted, hateful or just downright nasty bullshit — which is probably why I'll linger in the greys forever.

Seeing someone call GT an "inclusive" community has to be the most fucking hilarious thing I've read all day. You honestly thing GT is inclusive and a supportive space? What a fucking lark!

I think GT poster fall into two camps: "My life sucks soooo much, feel sorry for me!" and "I am the most militant Social Justice Warrior on the Internet and you all are bad, racist ladies!!"

OK maybe wrong word choice — but I don't think it's fair to me to not understand why straight women find slash appealing. I stated I had no knowledge of it or the genre, so how would I know it's a sexual attraction thing? I meant "laugh" and "funny" to mean, maybe, like tittilating and giggly — like, "Tee hee Harry

I did go there, and I am not surprised that the systemic sexism was around in the film school almost a decade before I showed up. Hot damn. (To be fair, I really, really love USC the institution. The film school? Not so much.)

Different strokes, then. Fashion depends on your taste. Personally, I like the simple cuts and styles at AA, and most of their off-the-rack selections fit me well. I've had tremendous luck with their high-waisted denim shorts, actually.

Drew Barrymore's production company (Flower Films, I think?) has been around for decades. She's one of the few actresses who's actually produced successful films from the vanity company route.

I went to the so-called #1 film school in the country. I've written about my experiences there frequently on Jezebel. What I found interesting about my film school experience was that the school itself did a phenomenal job of admitting women and minorities; every program was at least 50%, and some of the programs

Not allowed to sign up. It's weird, isn't it? I guess they want to make sure you're sticking around? The matching, once I do start, is pretty good. They match up to 5% and then contribute an additional 5% on top of that.

I pretty much have the same set up, minus the brokerage account. I'm definitely going to look into it, because having this much money sitting in a savings account with *shudder* Bank of America is way too tempting not to spend on a stupid vacation and a new wardrobe.

I, personally, would be thrilled if Arby's went uber liberal on us. I don't get the Arby's hate. They have curly fries (!!!) and the cherry turnovers are super yummy for a fast food dessert.

Ew gross. I haven't had Wendy's in two years at least, but I ate it a lot in college since it was near campus and had good tasting chicken options. Bummer.

I had a 401k with my old job through Fidelity — but since I left for a new job in December, that's all gone now. I am not allowed to sign up for a 401k though my new company until I've been here SIX MONTHS (?!?!) so I suppose looking into an account of my own not tied to an employer might be a good idea.

Ah hah! Good to know I can return to feeling OK about my hedge fund ignorance. Will not be a billionaire any time soon (or ever).

I do, too! The store's Home section is actually really nice. I feel embarrassed saying that — but honestly, it's been revamped to have a very sleek, modern and tailored feel. No more awkward Midwestern mom home furnishings. My boyfriend and I actually found a very cool, mid-century inspired floor lamp from one of

I thought I was the only one who didn't get it! So many of my friends from high school were (and still are) into slash. I never found it "comedic" — because, duh, gayness =/= funny — so the appeal was completely lost on me. If it's not there to be laughed at, what is it for? Honestly, I just don't know.

I dunno, I guess I'm in the minority here — but I like AA clothes because they're pretty neutral and skew towards "basics." I hate logos and branding on clothing, so I know I can avoid that by shopping at AA. It's nice to just be able to go in and buy five blouses each in a different color.

Finance illiterate here. My "investing" consists of putting cash in a savings account every month. I have quite a bit stashed away — over $10k at least. What the flying fuck is a hedge fund, and should I be looking at them? And if so, where can I find theses lady funds?
