After seeing the interview where Dave Bautista was so excited to be in movies he started acting lessons, I’ve always cheered him on. He’s developing great comedic timing and his role in Bladerunner 2049 was well done.

I agree with clanoblique - no list of BKV’s mastery is complete without Runaways. He proved he can do more traditional superhero comics better than pretty much everyone too. (Although I disagree about Y, as I really enjoy it to this day.)

Paper Girls is amazing! It also explores how knowledge of the future affects your past self, even if it seems like your future self isn’t really giving any advice, and reexamining your past to know what to do in the present.... It’s a timey-wimey, wibbley-wobbley identity crisis. Man, I hope the Stony Stream girls…

Paper Girls is another demonstration that Brian Vaughan is one of the best writers in comics today. This, Y and Saga are all top-10 all time comics, as far as I’m concerned.
