Opinionated Counterpoint: FF7 Remake was excellent and provided so much joy and nostalgia to play for longtime fans, FFXV was damn near a masterpiece even though it was a departure from the norm for the series, and the two sequels to FFXIII are some of the most fun I’ve had with Final Fantasy games as an adult.

I play using DualShock 4 on PC, and I far prefer it to Mouse & Keyboard for this game. As long as you have a keyboard for chat, the control scheme for DS4 is amazingly well implemented. I challenge any MMO to find a better implementation than the Cross Hotbar system FFXIV uses.
