This is exactly why I've never bothered pursuing the titles in D2 - the laundry list of mundane hurdles to overcome was such a turn-off.

Is single player MW any good?  Sometimes I accidentally click on it when going to MP and each time, I briefly consider playing it before saying, "nah."

I like to see how up to date my rig is by how fast I load into MP.  If someone is in there before me, I know its time for an update.  (Sarcasm of course).  The real reason is that I don't own an HDD, just two 1tb ssds and a 500gb ssd.
