Agreed! I was sad at the recent exodus (Tim, Gita, & Jason T.T), but Ash is making up for their departures in spades.

He does lean toward the dry and sarcastic, but the Dr. Jelly commercial he made with AnimeMan on his "Journey Across Japan" series was one of the funniest things I've seen in a while.

Ive been watching Abroad in Japan on YouTube, a channel run by an Englishman living in Japan - not really a drama but a lot of eating and touristy stuff, and its really feel-good.  Maybe worth a watch :)

And for the sellouts among us (like me), many of these launched on Amazon Music, as well.

This. I quit playing because of DoH, but then I came back and finally beat him. Then SSIA was like, “I’ma take 10 hours of your life that you will never get back.” I haven’t had such an intense gaming experience since I was a teenager beating Solidus on Extreme in MGS2. Sweaty palms, racing pulse, and then the insane

As someone in your exact position, I also gave up, but quite late in the game. Finally came back to it earlier this year and was amazed that my skills hadn’t dulled much. I promise you, if you can beat Lady Butterfly, you can beat this game. In fairness, I think it’s the hardest of the Soulsborne games, but definitely

Thanks for the advice - I just got visions of Big Bro Darunia from Ocarina of Time cosplay - just need to get my tan on and shave my head.

This sounds more and more like a demand-side problem...

Counterpoint: Demon's Souls, the entire Dark Souls trilogy, Sekiro, and Bloodborne.

You need to open a cosplay consulting business because that last one is MONEY.

One of these days!

Ive always wanted to try cosplay but the only character that I think I could possibly play is Walter from The Big Lebowski.  *sigh*

So. Fucking. Pumped.  PSO 2 is a little too dated for me, but I can't wait to give this a crack.  It looks like it might be the game Anthem was trying to be.

I am kind of in the same boat. Never played Future, but was fond enough of JGR when it was released. The game just honestly wasn’t very fun to play... BUT the style and soundtrack were enough that I finished the game. Didnt really touch it again other than to listen to the soundtrack. But then Napster blew up and I

I wish you weren't right.

Makes sense - why change your platform (AKA develop and release a new game) and risk losing your current userbase when you can generate new revenue streams from an existing product.

Yep.  And for a "nice" house they go up to like 1mil before you even get into "dope" territory.

Yep, I live in the Pacific Northwest US and a “small” house here (3 bed, 2 bath, 1400 sq ft) costs about $400K at the low end.

Starting?

The trick, I think, for open world games is a higher density in a smaller area (think Oblivion vs. Morrowind).  I suspect Cyberpunk 2077 will be a smallish game world with soooooo much crammed in, which I've always found more fun than slogging across the map for 10 minutes just to steal a car/horse/trophy and bring it
