Pc or console?

They have bounties and missions now that drop with every expansion that will get you to 10 points below the previous power cap. The bounties and/or missions themselves usually take an hour or so to complete.  They only drop blue gear, but it's a start.

Kind of outside the scope but Link’s Awakening for Game Boy is pretty amazing. And there’s a new remake coming out soon, but it looks kind of plastic-ey compared to the original.

I’ve been saying this since launch!

Nah, the way the most recent episode ended (DRAKHARIS!!), they’re setting it up for her to go nuts, burn down King’s Landing, and then Jon Snow’s forces, which are currently marching south, will arrive just in time to “aw hell no” and take her down.  You heard it here first.

I honestly think the best end to the story would have been that the Others - the "white walkers," sorry - had won the battle of Winterfell and the last few episodes were their march southward ending in the decimation of the human race.  That would have been haggard.

Yeah I can see that.  Hopefully they can incorporate both in for all tastes.

Eh. I grew up playing turn-based RPGs (I think I was 12 when FFVII originally came out) and they used to be my favorite genre. Now I can’t stand them (except for FFT, which is kind of in a league of its own). If you didn’t play FFXV because you were down on the action, you missed a wonderful (albeit flawed) work of

Agreed.  Even half-finished it was far superior to FFVIII.

I want this game to succeed so badly.  They need to pull an FFXIV or a No Man's Sky to save it at this point.

You touched on something that still sticks in my mind from my from the scene right after Aeris’ death. I originally played this game in bursts in seventh grade; a friend of mine would spend the night at my house, or I at his, and he would bring his PS1 (I only had a Nintendo 64 at the time). Between the translation,

Yeah there were probably a week’s worth of nights that I did this. I fell asleep one night playing on my steam link and I woke up, still standing on a ship. I was like, “I bet this space person is pissed AF at me right now.”

I’m almost on board with this comment, but FFTactics takes the cake in my book, with X-2 a close second.

Apparently smartphone means iPhone.  No android love?

I wish I could adequately express how much joy this series brings me. You’re the best thing that’s ever happened to this site, Tim. Keep up the good work.

It’s only a violation if it contains any of the 18 HIPAA identifiers. By the content of this article, it sounds like the info has been de-identified. Still sounds shady - I wonder if they’re trying to justify paying women less by how much more they cost due to pregnancy costs, maternity leave, and healthcare costs

Same! I logged about 100 hours in the first few weeks after launch and many more after each update. I’m one of the few that think that Sean Murray didn’t intend to lie and launch a game lacking the features he promised; I think Hello Games got in bed with Sony and they rushed the game out sooner than HG wanted. After

Maybe it’s different if you played it in 2001, because at the time, other than maybe Metal Gear Solid, Shenmue was the coolest, most innovative, most unique game I had ever played.  It was hokey, and the controls were ass, but it did something no other game had even come close to.

My main concern is that by having an easy mode available it could alter or break the core experience in a way that reduces my enjoyment to enhance someone else’s. I understand this is incredibly selfish, but From’s recent catalogue are some of my all-time most cherished games, and my concern is that I wouldn’t have

Yep, exactly this. I just took out a major story boss today. I totally spanked him, and literally stood up and was like “GET SOME!” as I delivered the special final deathblow.  I almost get the same satisfaction fighting bosses in this game that I get from PVP in Destiny, CoD, and PUBG.
