I went to a networking event at the Royal Enfield dealership in Milwaukee and love the bikes. They were affordable, light, and nice looking.

Mine works, but I did have to get it reworked a few years ago.
That is a pretty sweet chase. The 100 series does have a traditional e-brake handle between the seats, so no mod necessary. I love that its the manual version. I wish we could have gotten that in the US.
i don’t mind Jupiter Ascending, i typically like grandiose sci-fi movies. I just don’t think its great
I don’t mind Jupiter Ascending, its a mindless sci-fi watch like Starship Troopers.
Thats what I got out of it too. It really reinforced their thinking, and the character arc for Scarlett’s character
Sad but true
Picking the easier option instead of the right one is cowardice, and all but guarantees your problems will continue. They article says it was only a couple of people who were pushing it, let them go and host a training for the others.
Thats sad. Instead of punishing the clearly ingrained sexist culture, they decided it was easier to punish the woman instead.
The pace certainly wasn’t for everyone, but how did you get “quasi-feminist” out of it?
That scene stuck with me too. Especially since they left it unresolved.
Cloud Atlas made Jupiter Ascending seem good
I’d like to rewatch it. There are some deeply unsettling scenes in the movie, namely with the family at the beach. Its interesting that “she” started to identify with the humans and in the case of the one guy, actually let him go (to no avail). In any regard, I can certainly say i hadn’t ever seen anything like it.
James May only seems to be a curmudgeon on Top Gear and its derivatives. I’ve been watching his Japan series, and hes genuinely enthusiastic about it.
Hes great. He does everything, test drives, deep dives, tours, maintenance, journeys, etc. I’ve watched a few of his farming videos, which really get into the agricultural side of his business.
Absolutely. Last one i watched was him taking a Lotus to France to see where his Bond Defender would up. Great video
Based on my, um, “research”, the fingers in your mouth can signify a few things....
Harry and James certainly scratch the same itch. I love listening to Harry talk about his vehicles, whether its an ultra rare countach, a series land rover, or his new tractor. He just genuinely loves motor vehicles and it shows. Not to mention he has impeccable taste when it comes to the vehicles he owns.
I saw it all the time in Chicago. It was downright common on the northside.
Not at stop signs and red lights they don’t. I don’t full agree with the OPs position, but when i lived in Chicago, I saw cyclists fully ignoring traffic signs and lights all the time. Not really an issue in my present suburb though.
