Penny Arcade has a point: the majority of Ubisoft games tend to follow the same formula with slight variations.
Apparently there was a management change at Nick during their production and the new bosses weren’t very keen on these properties
I was wondering what was going on. I thought I somehow missed the Rocko movie completely and that it didn’t make an impression on anyone else.
It’s been a weird journey for these two movies. Both were completed more than a year ago and just sat on the shelf at Nickelodeon with no release date insight, to the bewilderment of fans and creators. Apparently there was a management change at Nick during their production and the new bosses weren’t very keen on…
This will be an interesting thing to follow. As President Furukawa said, a big part of Nintendo’s enduring appeal and market share is down to decades of consumer familiarity and fondness; since they won’t have that platform to launch from in China, carving out a spot in a market dominated by other platforms (and with…
Just for clarification, this isn’t an actual TAS, right? That is, it’s not a computer doing the playing. ZFG is doing the playing and just stitching together the various perfect segments to show what perfect run would look like if somebody could pull it off. Am I getting that right?
I am in no way defending these choices, but is this one of your first visual novels? I feel as if you can count on almost every A+ popular visual novel being overly perverted/sexual and also sexualizing minors. Even Phoenix Wright does it with Pearl Fey.
99% of these people just don’t know how to check their junk folders.
Wait wait, Bash, you gotta clarify; is this bootlegging or was he arrested for kitbashing?? I’m assuming this is straight up a form of bootlegging but the way this is written out it almost seems like the guy was arrested for “body swap kitbash”, which, I’m seriously hoping isn’t an actual crime in Japan. Because…
Noooo. Where are my grandiose, bloody gauntlets of enemies leading up to fantastically weird, quirky, memorable boss battles?
I’m torn here.
She’s pretty much just wearing 80's gym shorts. Nothing spectacularly obscene. Hell, I posit that Zero Suit Samus is far more ‘revealing’.
I mean, without even watching the video it’s gotta be one of the new Ultimate characters because it’s the latest game. And only three of the new characters are especially old: Ridley (Metroid, August 1986), Simon Belmont (Castlevania, September 1986), and Ken Masters (Street Fighter, August 1987). So the answer is…
Life in Aggro.
I usually don’t like this sort of game (pixelated/2D/metroidvania) but for some reason really liked Iconoclasts? Possibly for the same reasons you didn't like it. The controls just felt very smooth and the bosses felt creative and the autotargeting was a godsend.
Iconoclasts is the highlight here.
No thanks as it stands now? Or no thanks even if it had dozens of games from every old Nintendo system for the price of a subscription?
This has nothing to do with raw power. This game doesn’t need raw power. Square-Enix just did one lazy-ass port here. Let’s not forget that this was on the Vita and ran well (perfect if you OC’d the processor) on it and only had slightly worse lighting and shadows.
I enjoyed World of Final Fantasy much more than Final Fantasy XV. Give it a shot!
