That’s the best part about Metal Gear, no way is wrong. If it works, it works. I like it that Kojima took his time to make alternative ways to do things.

I have heard a couple of big things in tapes, yeah. At the very least they help fill in the blanks and explain what’s happening. This isn’t a bad thing, BTW — the writing in the cassette tapes is wayyyy better than any other writing in Metal Gear, since it sounds like real people talking and not teenage goth poetry.

I’ll be honest, if multiplayer is locked behind a paywall I’m going to be livid. They made the base capturing on their multiplayer playthrough look fantastic and I’ve already paid $60. That’s pretty anti-consumer and this is coming from a Destiny Player.

I won’t tell you how to spend your money, but I will say that the microtransactions don’t bother me because I don’t really care about multiplayer in a Metal Gear Solid game and the single-player stuff is fucking fantastic. I can totally sympathize if you feel otherwise, though.
