My kids were always adventurous eaters. So, obviously, I did everything right. LOLOLOL. Obviously, I got lucky. I’m sorry you’re going through that. As a great cook, it has to be so frustrating for you. I wish I had some advice, other than just keep presenting vegetables in various ways and hope he’ll find a few he

My family used to grow corn - acres of it - and we ate plenty of very fresh corn when I was growing up. It wasn’t that sweet. I wonder if it’s just these new varieties?

We had fresh corn last night that was so sweet as to be off-putting. The sweetness overwhelmed any amount of salt and butter. I’ve never experienced that before.

The Beyond Meat breakfast sausage patties (in regular and spicy) are really good as well. My meat-eating husband really likes them. They are in a lot of grocery stores.

These pans are ugly and yet the constantly show up in my feed.

I’ve been able to find the Impossible in patties at Publix. Not sure how the cost compares to Beyond in a large pack from Costco though.

I much prefer the Impossible burger over the Beyond Meat. But the Beyond Meat brats are the very best sausages you can find. I don’t like Field Roast links and I don’t like Upton’s jackfruit - it’s too wet and has none of the “char” or fattiness of pulled pork. I just buy a can of jackfruit in water and make it myself

“Bacon” bits  - because I don’t eat pig. I only use them on salads or on a baked potato. But they scratch the itch.

Meanwhile, every other family dealing with a severely mentally ill family member can’t get ANYONE to even try to “help.” I guess because serious money is involved? WTF?

You ever take a shit after drinking a juice blend that’s mostly raw beet juice? I shit a toilet full of blood in a gas station/middle eastern food joint. My life flashed before my eyes. Then my daughter reminded me about the beet juice. I still think I’m dying. Just more slowly now.

Ooooo! I remember these. I haven’t had them in forever - not since my kids were little. Now I want them badly. I like them made with lavash the best, but I can’t find it around here.

Air conditioning is MY LIFE!! I grew up without it at my Nannie’s in the summer. Working the fields and coming home to the shade at least felt...coolish. There’s a story that when I was a toddler my mama and grandmother left me on a little pile of blankets while they went out to cut corn and the sash window was

I love mustard greens and turnip greens the most for cooked greens. Mustard greens are getting really hard to find though. I like kale raw and massaged (!) in a salad, but don’t care much for it cooked.

I guess because I grew up in an era where chickens had bones, the word “nugget” bothers me. I hate how nuggets have become ubiquitous and how children (and many adults) are fed stupid processed food and can’t learn to eat food as it is present in real life.

Ponds cold cream - blue lid. Schmear it on, rub it in. Wipe it off. Wouldn’t have worked if my skin were still oily, but now it keeps me from looking Krusty. I also use a light hand with a micro polish facial scrub in the shower twice a week.

I give my dog a bite and then eat off the same fork.

I love ALL potato salad! One of my favorite foods of all time. Right now, my favorite is Korean potato salad.

If you want a sandwich there are SO MANY better choices. Subway food tastes like play food. Like nothing at all.

My tricks (back when I made meatloaf) was 2/3 80/20 beef and 1/3 unseasoned ground pork, add your seasonings (thyme, garlic powder, diced onion...whatever you like) and then crumble in some saltine crackers, an egg, and then get that mixture to absorb as much of a can of evaporated milk as it will take in. Line a cast

I understand the animal rescue donation. As social problems go, pet overpopulation is a problem we absolutely CAN solve. Among other organizations I support, I support a local non profit that funds low-cost or no-cost spay neuter. That’s all they do. It’s spay neuter, spay neuter, spay neuter all day long. I mean, if
