How about just offer the lunch/dinner menu all day? What’s the difference between a shitty biscuit and a shitty sausage patty and a shitty burger patty on a shitty bun? French fries or hash browns? They are both fried potatoes. Fast food eggs are always shite, and no one likes “Canadian Bacon” so much that they’d get

With my grandparents, farmhands were always fed at dinner/lunch - which was the biggest meal of the day. Supper was leftovers. From my daddy, I understood peanuts and RC to be a treat on the occasion they would go into town. My mom said she’d get it as a treat after being dosed monthly with cod liver oil for worms.

That’s interesting! So what do Italians think about pasta fagoli and our fondness for it?

Yes it was RC Cola. My dad always talked about it. Apparently, it was meant to get the cola to fizz? But really no one does that anymore.

The only instant ramen I buy are Mie Goreng and MAMA’s Creamy Tom Yum.

I really really wish I was the kind of person who didn’t relish the eminent death of someone. But he is so vile. Within his life has given nothing, produced nothing, except inconsequential hate. Inconsequential because we will all forget him within about 2 - 4 weeks of his death. His only “superpower” was shit-talk

I wouldn’t say “a lot of them.” Sock slider type products have been around for a while, and prescribed in lots of occupational therapy programs.

I’m intrigued! How else would you use Thousand Island dressing?

Sounds a little like sushi bake...which is shameful and yet really damn tasty. I’ll make that sometimes if our Publix has surimi “krab” BOGO.

Sub Thousand Island dressing for French dressing and that was my childhood. I remember going out to dinner with my parents on rare Sundays for an overcooked steak. huge baked potato with sour cream and butter, and iceberg salad with Thousand Island. The overcooked steaks (and other meats in our household) explain why I

Tuna salad sandwich. I looooooove tuna salad and will eat it nonstop until the bowl is gone. It’s got a good amount of protein, whole grains from the bread, enough fat to keep you satiated for a long while.

I wish I could find paneer in our town, because I love love love spinach and paneer. I will look up her recipe if I ever find paneer.

I’m a pescatarian and eat a fair amount of tofu, but not big on soft tofu. I can’t imagine serving this to my husband and having him rave over it - though it does look good to me and I would definitely try it if someone served it to me! A better silken tofu gateway might be Korean jjigae. I make it slightly sweeter

The croutons at Ruby Tuesday, though I haven’t eaten there in years.

1986. Newly pregnant. Florida in August, about noon. Flea Market porta-potty. I vomitted on my feet while I was peeing.

Hmmm...with ours we set it at the temperatures we generally wanted at night and during the day and it “learned” what our preferrences were and now it sets automatically. Of course we can still override by setting it manually on the wall.

75 is cool at your house? Going through menopause right now and it’s down to 68 at night, and when the temps drop below that (in humid Florida that might be in November or December or never at all), I open the bedroom windows, turn off the heat, give my husband three extra blankets and buy him plushy bathrobes for in

The only smart appliance we have is a Nest thermostat. We were out of town - little over an hour away - recently when a hurricane hit and we were able to check with the Nest app to see if the power was back on back home. Nope! So we stayed where we were. We didn’t have power there either but at least we weren’t

I ran out of candy a few years ago but it was late and I figured it would be okay. All the kids were done. Then the teens started around the neighborhood, so I offered them the boiled peanuts I had going on the stove. No one refused them. I guess we are “boiled peanut people.” Not sure how that ranks within the

Raisins are also harmful to dogs. So there’s that.
