I’m seeing a pattern in the narrative from anti-labor artistry that is similar to the NFT pitches. “Easier for the artists”, when it’s not true. In fact, it’s also almost similar to how executives ‘sell’ their company by subverting ‘weighted’ words into something else and being dishonest/deceitful. What they mean is

I have a Dall-E2 account, and it’s a fun toy to play with, but it’s still ultimately a toy. You can maybe get some concept art out of it, but a cut corner is still a cut corner. You’re ultimately going to end up with something that’s, by definition, soulless. And we already have enough soulless cash-grab video games

“mrspotatoes,” as she calls herself on the chat app, noted that going in, her husband was worried that people would “hate it” and “disregard it as not ‘real art,’” perhaps even “perceive it as low effort” on the same level as an “asset flip.”

Using AI like this is great, so long as you want everything to look janky and bad.

On top of the storage aspect, garages also have a slight slope to them.  I would find that weird to live in.

Because obviously the police would never shoot an innocent person, and everyone knows this, so sending the police after someone who isn’t doing anything wrong couldn’t possibly result in them getting killed, and thus couldn’t possibly be attempted murder.

Did you miss the “Twitch streamer” part? The internet is literally her livelihood. “Going offline” would mean abandoning her career.

Because bullies are always cowards at their core.  Always.

Isn’t it funny how all the people who are always making jokes and calling people snowflakes are the same people who can’t take a joke and are the real snowflakes?

Transphobes are a fragile bunch.

Don’t know that I can think of many lower forms of life than someone with a KiwiFarms account but I’ll try.

“Respect other people?”

Just to note, it’s always been Nintendo of Japan who has had the “wholesome” label. Even back in the 90's Nintendo of America had plenty of stories about scummy they could be.

The self-misrepresentation of influencers, and the effect of that on their devotees, is absolutely a problem to the extent it leads to unrealistic expectations. Those unrealistic expectations can manifest in all kinds of accidental or intentional self-harm or psycho-emotional problems.

Wouldn’t that just lead to a bidding war?

It’d be a really good idea to know if there was a meth lab in the basement, for example.

Judge to Plaintiff: git gud

It’s a typo, other reports are saying 2019, and 9 is right next to 0 on the keyboard....

Not even remotely how that works.
