The TT’s DSG is not the same transmission found in modern VW’s.

The 225HP Quattro 1.8T mated to a 6 Speed manual could not be more different.

Yes the R32 and the 3.2L TT both share a re-worked VR.

Because unlike you I have actual ownership experience with several different variants of this exact car.

This is my 6MT 225 TT Quattro (1.8T). Aside from the 3.2L Slant 6 the 225’s underpinnings are identical to the Mark 4 R32 Golf. I receive compliments daily.
