American Horrible Story

Kyoto already has restaurants and establishments that don’t serve non-Japanese people at all. A friend of mine is half-Japanese and last time she was in Kyoto she was barred from coming into a restaurant because she was “too white” to enter. I have zero doubt that shitty tourists are shitty, but really Kyoto has never

Now that it’s been a minute, through seven games Dallas is #5 in scoring offense and #1 in total offense. That offense doesn’t look like a fluke, but they do need their O-line to be healthy and play well or the wheels come off.

The thing is they’ve actually won a decent amount of games over the past 10-12 years or so. In the past decade they are behind the Packers and maybe the Saints and Falcons as far as regular season wins in the NFC. If anything though that just underscores how disappointing they’ve been.

There’s another interesting anecdote related to this story. Years ago this same family was in the news because of their prodigy son who breezed through school and got his undergrad at like age 14. His name is Jacob Barnett and now he’s a PhD physics student at a place called The Perimeter Institute. The mom wrote a

I feel like 2019's news is just being written by a random plot generator.

This is so true and I hate it. I watch games with my dad and after every big play we do the same routine of “No flag? Is there a flag coming?? ..... YES!!! OH MY GOD!!” It never occurred to me how shitty this really is because it’s the way I’ve always watched the game.

They really are especially because they now let you challenge a no-call.

I know we are talking non-alcoholic beverages here, but everyone needs to experience Yoo-Hoo and Jagermeister. I can see the horrified look on your face, but honestly they complement very well and the Yoo-Hoo almost completely covers up the Jagermeister taste.

Yes this was a drunken experiment I did in college but it

I’m not sure we are watching the same Tua. Yes he has insane talent at WR but his poise and ability to process reads are very impressive. He also pulls out at least two or three prime-Manziel Houdini type plays per game. If anything he’s held back by his constant need to play “hero ball” and go for the deep TD instead

I don’t see why these things are mutually exclusive. Taking advantage of a bad defense is exactly what you’d want to see a young new OC do.

I mean, they beat the Saints last year. It should be a good game.

Elliott is currently employed under the fifth-year team option on his rookie contract, which can’t really be described as an “agreement” at all, because it is more-or-less dictated by the NFL’s rookie wage scale.

Yeah but to be fair there aren’t exactly a ton of retired All-Pros who coach. NFL coaching staffs are mostly a bunch of former career backups, and that’s if they even made it into the NFL at all.

Wait, we are judging coaches on their playing careers now? I mean McVay was a WR at Miami of Ohio who never scored one TD in his career. Coaching staffs are chock full of former players who were absolute losers on the field.

It’s weird to me that the standard has to be different for QBs.
WRs and CBs publicly talk trash on each other constantly and it’s usually way worse than this.

I realize that Destiny is very polarizing in it’s own right, but as someone who was a Halo fanboy for years since the beginning, Bungie really took their secret sauce with them when they split.

Once upon a time I was planning on ditching Destiny 2 for Anthem. I hesitated after the initial bad reviews and now I’m glad I never took the plunge. Meanwhile in the last year Destiny 2 has evolved into a really great looter shooter with more stuff to do than I can conceivably do before weekly reset.

But then they won’t be able to chime in on Twitter and called Deadspin obsessed and sad.

I might have bothered to read that if you could have used any line breaks at all.
