I disagree about Apple revamping iCloud to compete with SkyDrive. SkyDrive (and Dropbox, and Google Cloud, etc.) are perfectly good solutions for OS X and I don't see how Apple would benefit by competing directly there - they just wouldn't do a very good job of it and I doubt it would make them a cent more.
