You can buy one yourself. Lots of Detroit homes well under $100k. Plenty under $10k, for that matter.

Primarily safety. Metal on the outside, meat in the middle, I say. I don't know any riders who haven't gone down bad at least once. I'm a good driver and I've never caused an accident (been rear-ended while stopped 3 or 4 times, though) but I've been in plenty of freeway-speed hard-braking situations where I'm sure…
No, that's all of us.
That's crazy talk. Who doesn't like being accosted by a stranger with his dick in his hand?
Allahu akbar.
He tried to sell them as legit street vehicles to an unsuspecting buyer. THAT is what caused all of this. You can do pretty much whatever you want with a vehicle if you're not putting it on the streets.
The Real Skyline Simulator
Huh? If you're trying to make a point, you've missed the mark. Please restate your meaning more clearly. Why is Tim Cook obscene for listing Bobby Kennedy and MLK as his inspirations?
This is derived from the much more expensive, definitive work on molecular gastronomy. It was probably the most comprehensive written exploration of the subject outside of the notebooks of Ferran Adria. Given the price of entry when attempting to practice molecular gastronomy, $115 is really a negligible cost. I…
Derivative in a Duchamp way, a pop-art way, or like exposed-structure architecture?
Your friend may have been right in the specific instance, but it is beyond any doubt statistically that seatbelts save far more people than they harm. Not even close, and to argue otherwise is moronic.
Not likely to happen. MicroUSB can't support a lot of the custom outputs (e.g. component video) that the Apple connector does. Where required by law, Apple bundles MicroUSB adapters. That's probably as much as Apple is going to give on that front. The ubiquity of MicroUSB would be nice, but don't hold your breath.
Good point.
Something Central, perhaps?
What? Apple hasn't released anything with a G5 since 2005. The Pros have been on Inetl Xeons since 2006. Until Ivy Bridge there really hasn't been a compelling reason for a redesign. The only feature of significance prior to that new architecture has been Thunderbolt and, with PCIe slots in the old Pros, there…
Bravo! I think this is the most concise criticism of the idea that I've come across.
Kentucky is a one-party state as far as recordings go. Other states - California, for one - are two party states, so recordings can only be made with full disclosure.
Like I said, I'm not a lawyer. However, I have had lawyer friends explain to me that there are rights that cannot be signed away by waivers. That there are intrinsic liabilities assumed by a business. So just because you sign a document saying you know that skydiving is potentially dangerous, it doesn't mean the…
I think there was some paralysis for a while after, too.
Excellent!
