Working on fake projects or not, they're getting paid for it, so engineers have no room for complaint. And the secrecy seems to be working well for Apple.

Analyze? Are you sure he should put the balls up there?
It's a good thing he wasn't trying to teach her a lesson about running with scissors. She'd have gotten stab wounds.
No, we have to keep pretending we come here to read the articles.
Which laws were broken? These self-proclaimed pirate groups are "looking into whether the FBI's actions potentially violated US law". Even they can't put their finger on particular legal transgressions. Just because innocent users may be affected doesn't mean the FBI did anything wrong.
And what better organizations to represent legitimate file sharing users than Pirate Parties International and Pirates of Catalonia? Clearly they are comprised of members who lost family photos and tax records.
As someone who has used the Logitech Harmony One and 1100 extensively, let me say that touchscreen remotes suck. Touchscreen should only be used for context dependent function that can't possibly be mapped to physical buttons. The way we hold and use remotes is very different from how we interact with smart phones…
Um...but the Seven is there.
It's okay. The British monarchs have been German for the past 250 years.
Finally, a good reason!
I'm not a big used-game buyer, so my opinion is probably not very representative, but if they're going to kill the used market can they just put the nail in retail gaming altogether. I'd be perfectly happy if I could by all games via download instead of having to schlep to stores to get them and, in the case of…
No doubt he'll be one of those interviewers who ask long-winded complex questions designed not so much to elicit an interesting answer as to show how god-damned smart he is. Every description I've ever read about this man has made him out to be a tiresome, arrogant bore. Why would anyone want to watch a show hosted…
He's maintaining that this is an evolutionary change, not a radical departure. Given RIM's problems, why would anyone say that? Wouldn't a sensible person come in and make noise about shaking things up and making a new, bolder RIM? *We* know it would be a lie, but it might set a better tone with the market.
So...I should take that as a pro-dick argument?
I disagree with your take on the article, but I do think KotakuCore might be the place for you. Less stuff that might bother you over there. You'll be sheltered and no one will ever suggest that there is anything about your worldview - the things you accept without question, the words you utter, and the strength of…
It's amusing how so many people get up in arms defending their rights to be offensive jerks (whether homophobic or not) rather than consider improving themselves and simply being considerate of others. If a word or phrase might be considered homophobic and hurtful by some, wouldn't the decent thing be to avoid using…
Most university level programs change textbooks every few years and the students are required to buy the books. Even 25 years ago when I was in college I was probably spending $300+ per term and we had 3 terms per year.
Different environment, I guess. I've never worked anywhere that was in the warning business. Honest mistakes can slide, but people who are screwups are removed immediately. It's work, not happy friend club.
Who works at a place where termination isn't instant? Do people really get told they're going to be fired...soon?
George, you're not a terrible person. You're a terrible filmmaker.
