I feel like the C2 defined the bodystyle for the cars even through this latest generation. The sharp, pointy fenders, the ‘aerodynamic’ shape, exotic materials or construction - all of that started with the C2.

The early C3's with the thin chrome bumper will always be my favorite Vettes. They were an iconic, beautiful design that didn’t look like anything else at the time:

Great write up. I am cry-laughing at my desk. WELL DONE.

I’ve just found myself rocking in my office chair with silent laughter for several minutes, desperately trying to hide the fact that I’m reading about Torch shitting into a bag taped to his ass on the clock.

Jalopnik readers be lyke:

You know all those climbers who regularly spend a week on the face of El Capitan in Yosemite? Yeah, just imagine a PVC potato gun and you get the idea. Big wall climbers just take this for granted, they’ve been doing it so long.

I agree. I live in Michigan, the home of Bells, and I would wager that Fat Tire is available in more supermarkets than Two Hearted. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not implying that Two Hearted isn’t widely available, but I think calling that one a supermarket beer is a stretch.

1) I grew up in a state where you can’t buy beer at the grocery store. You have to go to a packy.

Kate was an easy call, though John’s Two-Hearted selection was on point.

But “supermarket beer” is pretty contingent on the supermarket and its selection; I was surprised to see Fat Tire as a “supermarket” beer while there are other craft-y breweries that have plenty of supermarket distribution that weren’t selected.

You’re right.

We should learn about that strap. That’s the real hero, here.

Tell me about the strap.

+1.  Don’t forget the time that he rightly ejected from the flying bedstead, not only saving his skin but also finding a flaw in the craft that would have killed a lesser pilot training for command of a future mission.

Yes, yes, but what year did he die and how old was he?

I never realized how much I say “’ope” until it was pointed out by a blogger I follow a couple of years ago.  Now I’m self-conscious about it.

Yeah, while there are some exceptions there is definitely some truth in that. Thankfully my brother in law in a brother in spice/flavor. We were at a mexican restaurant in the twin cities and kept asking the kitchen for hotter salsa than the nasty ketchup sauce they kept passing us.

We had to reassure them - basically

There doesn’t seem to be an upside to taking back the vehicle. Tracking it down was awesome, but waiting for the cops would have worked out better. There was probably enough time for the cops to show up before the thieves finished their meal at Applebee’s.

It would seem these thieves can 4Run, but they cant 4Hide.

I think many of them are ok with cheese because the animal doesn’t have to die to provide it.
