Ann Arbor is just West Ypsi.

IDK about everywhere else, but all the Meijers near me take FOREVER to check out. They usually have 1, maybe 2 cashiers open, and a 20 minute wait. Even during the Holiday season when you’d think they would KNOW they’re going to be busy AF they still understaff, its ridiculous.

well its in the water, so more like Marine Antoinette...

We did Hello Fresh for a while, but since my wife is vegetarian we were limited in choice, and the offerings got stale, same stuff over and over. At least one dish would be some sort of pasta (no complaints from me, I’m 40% pasta), my wife got bored, and i got fed up with paying so much.

My wife and i were pretty regular patrons at our local brew pub, maybe once a week. During the pandemic we would order takeout, but less often. Returning there in person recently, I’m amazed at how alot of the staff remember our names and recognize us even with masks on!

You shouldn’t be shooting 60,000 pieces of space trash into the sky unless you’re 100% sure the business is going to stick...

It would be naive to assume the other OEMs don’t donate to both sides. its in their interest to buy government officials and enact policy to make it easier to divorce you from your money.

It’s easy to become jaded in this genre. It’s nice to see that there is unbridled joy in these old classics, clichés, overpriced status cars.

no idea how much ozone this thing produces vs other polluting machines but what are the concerns for the environment? from what i remember Ozone down low contributes to smog etc.

Never tried it, too afraid of splashing a bunch of soap or shower water in there.

I stopped trying to keep up after the 488. There are a bunch more now, and I’ll probably never see one, i’ll definitely never own one, i just don’t care that much anymore.

and most of that was left out of Lawrence’s summary, the fact he was charged and convicted at all. Thats what i was confused about.

Aren’t there a class of druids that derive their power from the moon? Maybe we could ask them? Roll for Initiative...

Seems like we’re missing alot of the story here, was the guy actually drunk beyond the legal limit?

The way it grew out of a street racing story to become the insanity it is now amazes me. I’ve kind of divorced the two in my mind.

Some might say there is an active hatred toward Applebees among millennials. We’re at it again!

I used to travel to Rochester NY for work and TGI Fridays was the closest restaurant to the hotel. Without fail i would have stomach issues in the airport the morning after eating there. Eventually i learned to stay closer to down town and check out other places.

I like Jersey Mikes, but they definitely are pricey. The largest size can be split for 2 meals though* Of the chain places i go, JM and Potbelly are the ones i prefer for subs. DiBellas too if you can find one. I wish there was a good mom/pop sub shop local to me, but chains is all i got for now.

I’ll have to check it out. It would be nice to try a “real” bagel. I’ve never been to New York so apparently I’ve never had real pizza either.

My lizard brain rejected your classification of “roll up” and tried to call these “cold midwest enchiladas.”
