My wife mods and admins for a couple facebook groups and from the amount of drama i hear about it absolutely does not seem worth it. The internet is a hive of scum and villainy.

Yes! That is exactly what a more experienced co-worker told me. Respect them and their work, ask for their input, explain what you’re doing. Luckily most of the time i was at a plant it was to help make things easier, so most people were eager to help.
Its a 2 way street, alot of the white collar workers are not so friendly to the factory workers either. I came to this dynamic as a complete outsider and i was very surprised to see how people were acting.
Ford is an interesting case because Ford Land is a “separate company” (Feels like they own half of Dearborn). Ford was in the middle of a massive campus transformation, knocking down old facilities and building new ones. This is an opportunity to change those new buildings and save a ton of money.
After being a barista for years i can still smell this stuff. Totally works though.
