They kind of did that, they bought Argo and then had to admit it was a complete loss. And i thought their AV devision was a seaparate “company”. It was being run by Hackett before Mark Fields got canned and Hackett got the top job. 

People are fickle, and it takes years to develop vehicles. Honestly, with how terrible the general public is i’m surprised ANY volume car company can stay afloat.

Ford is doing a good job of showing their employees that “we’re all in this together” but those salaries are egregeous....

The EcoSport had been on sale in Europe for years (since 2013) before they brought it over to America. Its an old design not intended for Americans. We would think of it differently if it was a 4WD diesel with a 6 speed manual.

The F series is the money maker but they make alot more than just the F series. They are dumping billions into electric vehicles and autonomous research. Europe and South American branches are in the negatives, North America carries the entire company.

The RS was only ever going to be limited run anyway, its the way the RS Focus have always been.

My poor P-car needs a new raio badly, whoever had the car before me put something that would be more at home in a tune ‘98 Honda. I want something that looks classy but none of this touch screen hooliganism. 

I was going to suggest Focus RS or FiST too, but they are not the most comfortable things on crap roads.

A friend of mine has a 420R. its an amazing but brutal car. Its seriously scary in the higher revs, and this is at 8000 ft of altitude and higher.

I think some of the reason for the changes in which 80s references got put in the film was securing the rights to said references.
